7 guardian of the beast realm

The new visitor looked back at the two figures that were merely a few steps away from her position, she was looked strangely at Alex, she had never heard of any humanoid beast being in the beast realm, her teacher only told her not to wander about in the beast realm and wait patiently for the guardian to come and get her.

But she was now conflicted about who the guardian is between these two, she knew for sure that any beast that was capable of taking human form was no ordinary beast, yet she could feel a strong suppression coming from the turtle tiger beast that was standing with the human-like creature.

What even made her more confused was that she could feel the power of a core mage coming from the humanoid, but strangely, she could feel another power residing within him, a power so deep, a kind of power she has never felt before, plus his godly appearance made it even more difficult for her to say who the guardian was among these two.

Alex looked at the new guest who had arrived a little late after him, somehow, Alex could feel that she was a basic mage who had just awakened, what even attracted Alex's attention was her otherworldly beauty, Alex believed that she was just a little point from reaching zero's beauty mark.

With that red long hair that dropped over her shoulders, and a long sword resting on her waist, she looked like a reincarnation of the goddess of war.

The turtle tiger beast just glanced at the girl indifferently, it was a beast, so it didn't think much of her beauty, it turned its huge body and stirred towards her, he finally stopped when the girl was just below his head so he was looking down at her.

"Disrespectful human, are you perhaps ignorant of the rules of the beast realm?'' It's said coldly, looking down at her with sharp eyes.

Even Alex could feel his hair stand on its end at the beast's chilly words, was it that he didn't like meeting females? His earlier impression of this turtle tiger was that of a friendly beast but it didn't show this type of attitude towards him earlier, so why was it suddenly giving out a dangerous vibe?

Wait... Guardian of the beast realm. Alex suddenly remembered the beast had told him he was the guardian of the beast realm earlier, so it was only normal for it to be cold towards humans less they start treating it as a friendly good neighbor uncle, it would be a shame if humans start trooping into the beast realm in search of resources in future if it's guardian was too jovial.

The girl finally realized her blunder and quickly bowed deeply in apology "please forgive my act of disrespectful great guardian, it's just that when I saw his Excellency with a strange human, I didn't know who the guardian was between the two of you, am very sorry, please forgive me" she hurriedly apologized, she had been warned by her teacher prior to her coming here, that the guardian detested people who overlooked its presence the most and could do anything to make them suffer while still in there. Seeing how the girl apologized without hesitation and how sincere she was, the turtle tiger finally chose to let the matter slide, after all, it had a guest to attend to.

"So you also came for a summoned beast?" The turtle tiger asked as it turned back and started walking in Alex's direction.

"Y-yes, I am" was all the girl managed to say, she quietly followed behind the two in front of her, not daring to make a sound out of fear that she would be considered a nuisance and get sent off to fend for herself.

"Two summoners in a day, since when did the summoning element become so common?" The guardian said out loud to no one In particular.

"How long have you been practicing?" The girl was woken up from her thoughts by the turtle tiger's question.

"Four years" she breathed in relief that she was able to answer without having to make the guardian repeat itself who knew if it would get moody again?

"Hmm...four years, go towards the west side of the realm, you can pick any tree, mountain, or floating Rivers there to choose from, remember, summoned beasts aren't your slaves or something, although they follow your every order make sure to treat them as partners and companions, also, some beasts are prideful, so make sure to be careful when you communicate with them" The turtle tiger instructed the girl then turned to Alex" follow me, friend, let's continue our chat" it then started moving towards the other side of the plain.

The girl watched them leave with mixed feelings, that human who the guardian of the beast realm regarded as a friend turned out to be a mage too, but she didn't know how to identify him, the clothes Alex was wearing looked completely unfamiliar to her, if only she could get to know such a senior and become his student, she would definitely have an easier life.

Mages weren't restricted to the number of teachers they could have, and Alex seemed like a big shot to her, but she didn't know if she would ever meet him again.

She has just turned to move in the direction the guardian had told her then its voice reach her ears "Avoid any beast who wants to test your strength, they are just too troublesome to deal with" giving a firm warning, the guardian and Alex's figures finally left her field of vision, she just bowed once more in their direction and left on her journey.

Meanwhile, Alex and the turtle tiger kept on moving in a straight line for almost five minutes without a word being said by both parties, only the sound of the wind moved freely within their company of silence.

Alex finally broke the Long silence that had governed their stroll " why did you tell her to head that way? What about the rest part of the realm?"Alex questioned while looking at the guardian who was leisurely walking like it was walking its pet down the park.

The guardian didn't reply until they reached the deepest part of the realm without Alex realizing how far they had traveled within such a short time.

Alex looked around himself, there wasn't much difference between here and the other part he had seen, the only difference was that this part didn't have as many mountains, trees, or floating Rivers as the rest of the realm.

Alex had noticed that the mountains and other things were starting to reduce in numbers as they moved further but he didn't think much of it, but now with the view before him, he knew for sure that this place wasn't ordinary.

That was because it only contained one mountain, one floating River, and one giant tree, and their sizes were even the real deal, they were as big as five of the other mountains and trees Alex had seen so far.

Simply put, Alex felt like he was currently in the VIP part of the realm.
