Chloe's heart jumped a bit as she felt the warm breaths of prince Chris touching her face. She pulled herself back from that situation of hemlock and said loudly,"If you think that you can use me for your manly pleasures, then you have mistaken me for other girls. You will never be able to force me against my will."

"Chloe, do you believe in soulmates?" asked Chris looking at Chloe fondly. She was completely silent and in a confused state.

"After my parent's death, my great grandmother took me to an exile and wrote about my future within 2 weeks. She wrote about my death as well as about my love life, she also mentioned about my soulmate whose name was supposed to be Chloe!" he said as his eyes brimmed the edge of his heart.

There was an utter silence in the room. After a moment both of them could listen to the partial sound of their heart's random beats. They realised that their heartbeats synced at a moment.

"Are you my soulmate?" asked Chloe with a state of confusion.

"If I am the night sky, then you are the moon. Chloe, would you accept my proposal?"

"Why not the moon then? Why me as the moon?" shouted Chloe with grief and anger.

"I can never be yours and you can never be mine."said Chole by slightly lowering her tone.

Chloe couldn't get out of her grief, she couldn't come out of the painful situation that took place back in the past days. Afterall she had to witness her parents and her loved ones being burnt to death.The ashes of Aliria kingdom was calling out her name for justice, how could she get connected with someone without filling that desire ?
