Chapter 14 Garden of Evil

I was taken to one of the rooms in the east wing of the palace on the third floor. I had never seen a room as grand as this. It had a queen-sized bed with a bed-side table, two sofas and a circular table between them, a vanity with a large mirror and a movable comfy stool, a walk-in closet containing so many clothes that suited all occasions. I went into the walk-in closet and deliberated on my dressing. I wanted my entire look to captivate his mind. After a while of deliberation, I put on a skinny strapless shirt and tucked it under a tight mini-leather skirt with a lot of decorative zip topping it with knee-length high-heeled leather boots. For jewellery, I put on a plain black choca with long black earrings. I called in Sathanas Tina who called two maids to help me fix my hair. They darned my hair with silvery black accessories, pinning it making it fall only at my left side. I loved the way my new silky hair complemented the accessories. I topped my natural facial beauty with dark red lipstick. I went into the walk-in closet and checked my full look in the mirror and decided I was good to go then I heard a knock on the door.

"come in." I said and Sathanas Tina entered the room.

"all power to you, My Lady. Ira Manzel has ordered me to escort you to the Garden of Evil."

"Garden of Evil?" I asked and a light smile crossed her face.

"Allow me to escort you."

"Sure." I said and followed her out of the room. I followed her down to the last floor of the east wing, then to the back of the centre of the palace. There were large double embroidered translucent glass doors with transparent glass pulling handles. I was surprised to see Archdemons guarding the door. I was sure they were Archdemons because of the mixture of bronze in their dressing which is also the same in Heaven and the higher energy they possessed.

"I'll be awaiting your next call." She said and dust from nowhere came circling her twice and she faded away with it. The two Archdemons standing by the sides of the door pulled the door open letting me in. I was fascinated with what I laid my eyes on. Grasses filled the ground and there were beautiful, coloured trees that formed a pathway to whatever laid ahead. There were butterflies, dragonflies and little birds flying around beautifying the garden. As I took my first three steps the door was closed behind me and it felt like I had been transported to a place of mesmerising peace made just for me.

After a walk of three minutes, I reached what I believe is the centre of the garden. Those two trees were there; the tree of good and evil and the tree of life, in the middle surrounded by tables, chairs, benches, swings. The area was large. As I got closer, I realised there was a statue of a snake on the tree close to a red fruit, I also saw two statues of a man and woman both naked. The woman looked at the snake holding onto the man's hand, the man was looking at her. Then I saw him coming out from the other side; fascinating dark red eyes complemented by dark circles, smiling red lips, shoulder length black hair tinted with dark red, he packed part of the up part with high quality gold accessory and left the remaining down, part of his hair at the front was pushed to the sides, he had leather black jeans, fish-net inner top and unbuttoned leather jacket with high black laced boots. His look was mesmerising, and I could feel the authority his energy screamed. He looked like a calm storm. A grin appeared on his face after he eyed me.

"I love the look. It shows you are one of us." He said but I barely understood what he meant. I didn't know about the formalities here, wasn't sure if I was to say something in return or greet him. "I hope you're not the quiet type because silence is not of me."

"did I give such an impression?"

"hmm... you also possess a nice voice."

"are you testing me to see if I pass your qualifications?"

"why? What if I am?"

"then I'd be disappointed. I didn't sign the devil's letter to end up with someone that's going to be judging my actions, deciding if they should be possessed by his wife or not."

"wow. Interesting, you're a keeper. I don't know how you ended up in Heaven with 100% purity with that attitude."

"you think there was a mix up somewhere?"

"I'm saying you never belonged there. You take over your mother, she was one of the best Archdemons we ever had."

"you knew my mother?"

"everyone in 1st Hell knows your mother, she had great potentials like you. Her death was unfortunate."

"why and how did she die?"

"you don't know? Have no idea?"

"I know Hell isn't like Heaven. Hell isn't going to punish her for being in love with an Angel. What happened?"

"why should I tell you what happened?"

"doesn't her daughter deserve to know?"

"I asked you a question, but you answer me with another question, daring. I like it. Now I know why the Devil picked up an interest in you. Let's leave your mother's story for another day." He said with an eyebrow up. I really wanted to find out the truth behind my parents, but I knew now wasn't the time, so I let it slide.

"why did you accept the Devil's proposal. Was it because you felt it was an upgrade, didn't belong in Heaven or you just want to find out about your mother?" he asked.

"I came here on a quest for peace."
