"Wow, finally out of that godforsaken hospital" Melissa said as she pulled her coat to cover her very well. Azrael shook his head as he walked ahead of her.

"Heyy, wait up" Melissa said as she ran to catch up.with him, due to how long Azrael's leg was, he was able to reach the car in just give steps while Melissa was left to run behind him. "Get in, we need to get to the registry office today"

Melissa grunted as she hoped into the car, shutting the door behind her, the driver started the car as it drove out of the hospital's compound.

The city's registry office was on the other side of town, Melissa had to endure sitting in the car with Azrael. Azrael glanced at Melissa as he saw how bored she looked, he almost laughed out loud but he never laughs.

"Wipe that bored look off your face before we get there" He said as Melissa glared at him, she pouted as she looked out the window. "So much for my dream wedding" she said rolling her eyes.

As the car pulled up in front of the registry office, Melissa stepped out as Azrael walked to where she stood. Wrapping his hands around her waist as he pulled her closer to him. "What the heck are you doing?" She asked as she looked up at him.

"Paparazzi is around the corner and the publicity would be good for us" Azrael said as they proceeded into the office. Melissa looked at the papers as she gulped, when she signs this, there's no going back.

Azrael signed it without hesitation as he stared at Melissa sternly. "Don't you want to sign it ma'am?" The person attending to her said as Melissa shook her head before she scribbled her signature on it.

"You may kiss the bride" the attendant said as Melissa was about to refuse when Azrael pulled her closer to him as he slammed his lips on hers. They heard the camera click as they broke the kiss.

"Happy married life" the attendant said handing the certificate to Azrael who accepted it happily. He took Melissa's hand as they walked out of the office. Melissa could help but sigh as she looked at the certificate. All this was fake but why was her heart hammering against her chest.

"We need to head home, mom and dad want us over for dinner today with our marriage certificate" Azrael said once they had gotten back into the car, Melissa nodded but she wanted to ask a question.

"Okay, but are we going to have a normal wedding ceremony? And what about our honeymoon?" She asked but she got a cold gaze from Azrael that made her bite her tongue, she was always called a blabber mouth so this wasn't new.

"Mom would decide the honeymoon and no we won't have any ceremony. I'd get you the ring I bought when we get home" Azrael said with a boring and nonchalant voice. He spoke of everything as if they were talking about the whether and Melissa clenched her fists looking away angrily.

When they arrived at the mansion, Azrael walked out of the car as he headed to his study, Melissa just shook her head as she got out of the car. Entering into the sitting room, she was surprised to see Lydia there.

"Melissa!" Lydia shrieked as she jumped on Melissa's body, pulling her into a warm hug. Melissa stiffened a bit but gradually loosened up .

"Hi Lydia, Azrael didn't tell me you were coming over" Melissa said as she broke the hug, taking a seat beside Lydia who had a huge smile on her face.

"Dad wanted me to come over, even though you're having dinner with us. I don't know why" Lydia shrugged but Melissa knew it was either he was using Lydia as a spy or he just wanted to know if they would show up for the dinner.

"Oh okay, we went to pick up the marriage certificate though and I think we'd go on our honeymoon by tomorrow or there about" Melissa said as Lydia nodded in understanding.

"Can I at least see it? I've been dying to see how my brother looks when he finally gets married" Lydia said but Melissa was about to hide the document when Lydia snatched it out of her hand.

"Heyy!" Melissa whined as Lydia chuckled as she ripped open the brown envelope as she stared at the certificate, she couldn't help but squeal as she saw the picture.

"Oh my gosh, you too look so in love" Lydia said, she couldn't help but feel proud of herself when she had found Melissa in jail.

"But it's all just a facade" Melissa said and Lydia couldn't help but feel bad, she put Melissa into this situation and maybe she shouldn't have.

"I'm sorry Lissa, I should've never approached you to do such a thing but I hope Azrael treats you right during the period you both are together" Lydia said as she placed the wedding certificate on the tea table.

"It's fine Lydia, when you have riches and gold, you can do whatever you want" Melissa smiled at her, but her smile didn't reach her eyes before she walked up to her room leaving Lydia standing there in a daze.

Melissa got to her room as she sat in front of the mirror, wiping off the makeup that was still on her face. She still needed to get some rest before they hed to Azrael's parents manor. "Maybe after I get back from the honeymoon stuff, I could get a job that doesn't involve anyone I know" Melissa thought because even Quinn who she had trusted more than his cousin Azrael, had betrayed her without even thinking twice.

"Melissa?" Lydia's voice snapped her out of her thoughts, turning around her eyes met with Lydia she just stared at her briefly. "Can I help you Lydia?" Melissa asked but when Lydia was about to respond, Melissa's phone rang.

Fishing her phone from her purse, she was confused seeing an unknown number but picked anyway. "Hello, who is this please?"

"You ungrateful bastard!"
