I am your surrogate

Peanut was Azrael's childhood friend, when their family had been poor and had nothing, peanut's family helped them in so many ways, but then she suddenly went missing and that was how Azrael suddenly had DID, he would try to run away each day just to see peanut, till they had no choice than to get him lock up in rehab.

"Yes Azrael, you heard me. She is peanut although I don't know how she ended up with that stupid family of hers, I know that isn't her real family" Donald said as he slumped into his chair. Lydia saw how unmoving Azrael was but she didn't care, she walked past him as she ran to the door, going after Melissa.

Melissa hadn't felt more humiliated in her life, she had endured everything else, from being in prison to getting betrayed by her family but being called a child carrier made her think of what she was gaining from this whole marriage. She sat on a bench in the closest park she had found, she buried her face in her palm as she cried.

"Revenge, fucking revenge, that I'm doing this for, I haven't even gotten that revenge" she sobbed out as she stared into the darkness. She was giving up her virginity for revenge, her heart was nothing... nothing but.

Imprisoned.

She ran her fingers through her hair as she smiled sadly, she opened her bag as she immediately touched up her makeup. All her aims was driven by revenge, anger and urgency, she wouldn't allow love, humiliation or anything pull her down.

"Melissa I was- let me cut you off, I'm fine" Lydia met Melissa immediately she opened the manor's gate, but as she was about speaking she was cut off by Melissa who pushed her aside before walking into the house.

Azrael stared at Melissa who had come back with a cold frown on her face, but she replaced it with a smile when she faced Lucy and Donald. "Forgive me for rushing out like that, it wasn't my intention but now that I'm back, can we get on with this?" Melissa asked as Lucy sighed.

"Sure, sure, let's go to the dining room" Lucy said as she walked to Donald, pulling him up from the chair as she he wrapped his arms around her as they went to the dining, Lydia stared at Melissa somewhat worried but she got a reassuring smile from her, making Lydia sigh as she went to join her parents.

"Melissa can we talk?" Azrael asked, he was just angry that Lydia slapped him that was why he said all those hurtful things about her, he never meant it, especially since she was peanut.

"I'm a surrogate Azrael, I don't talk to people like you" Melissa shunned him as she proceeded to the dining, she wasn't going to let him step on her again or even give him that chance anymore.

During dinner, Melissa was very quiet and only talked when she was asked to, she asked for permission before she even picked up her glass on juice. At the end of the dinner, everyone was upset with Azrael did making her like this.

"Melissa, the honeymoon is going to be in Egypt if you'd love that" Lucy said to Melissa as they all stood in front of the manor.

"That would be nice but I would like to kindly reject it, Azrael doesn't love me and honeymoons are meant for couples who are in love, not for a surrogate and her partner" Melissa said with a frown, she wasn't going on any honeymoon since she wasn't valued as a wife.

"Look child, I know Azrael said thing's to hurt you but you shouldn't be like this" Lucy said, since her and Melissa were alone, Melissa just sighed as she looked at Azrael who was staring back at her.

"Can we go somewhere private?" Melissa asked as Lucy nodded, they walked back into the manor as Melissa looked at the ceiling before talking.

"All my life, I've been a disgrace, a failure and humiliation to everyone around me including my family. Azrael said I meant nothing to him, I'm just a dumb bimbo who was payed to open her legs for him and get pregnant. I know I'm shameless but he doesn't need to keep rubbing it in, I'm doing this because I'm desperate for revenge, I won't fall in love with him and he can always be with mina I would never hinder their relationship" Melissa said and Lucy felt tears well up in her eyes, within Melissa's chest was nothing but broken pieces of her heart and Azrael just broke them more.

"Come here" Lucy pulled Melissa into her arms as they hugged, Melissa could feel tears flow down her eyes as they hugged. All she ever wanted was the love of the woman who gave birth to her but she got nothing, she had never been loved like this.

"I'm sorry, i shouldn't be crying but it hurts, my chest hurts, so much" she bawled out as she gripped Lucy's shoulder, burying her head deeper into her shoulder blade as she sobbed.

"Loving Azrael is a losing game Melissa, if you live him, keep playing that game but don't be sure to always win" Lucy advised Melissa as they broke the hug. Melissa cleaned her face with a tissue her makeup was ruined but she didn't care.

"Thank you ma'am" Melissa said as Lucy smiled at her. "Take care and if you probably feel like you can't stay with Azrael, throughout all this just contact me" Lucy said handing Melissa her call card. Melissa placed it in her bag as they hugged one final time before she walked away.

"Melissa, get in" Azrael said to Melissa but as she turned to look at him, he suddenly felt guilty.

"I'll stain your car Azrael, I'm a burden" Melissa said as she walked away, Azrael stared at her back , he shook his head as she walked after her.

"Can you just stop this, we need to go home" Azrael said as Melissa laughed.

"Azrael Regald, I am your surrogate and not your wife"
