The next day.
As Yang Gang got out of bed and opened the door, Shen Jing was standing right outside his room.
"I'm sorry." Before Yang Gang could get a word in, Shen Jing, with her head bowed and her face full of worry, had already spoken.
Seeing Shen Jing's pitiful look, Yang Gang couldn't muster any anger.
He composed his emotions, smiled faintly, "No worries. I was just concerned you were being deceived."
He paused, then added, "And also, my attitude last night wasn't great either, I didn't scare you, did I?"
Shen Jing lifted her head, smiled quietly, and gently shook her head: "No."
Yang Gang sized up Shen Jing and smirked, "You look very pretty today."
Shen Jing's cheeks turned red instantly, she stuttered, "Ah, I forgot my phone, I need to head back to my room."
Then she ran off.
After she rounded a corner, Shen Jing noticed two men hiding there and took a fright.
