Chapter 5: Divine sense

The soul wine is very precious. As it is said that the soul wine is made of heaven and earth medicinal materials which are very rare and it benifits the soul when drunk.

Those who drink the soul wine, it benefits the soul even those who don't have a body but only soul. When the old soul chef made this soul wine, it was totally a disturbance, even which the existance who have been slumbering for many years came out.

Later on, it was said that old soul fell and his recipes were said to be caused a bloody war. This was an disaster.

The old soul was too tired of this wars and bloodiness.

At dawn, Xin was awake, then he got up, kowtowed the seniors three times and thanked them for giving this journey.

After washing up, he started to cach the fish, and the fruits he picked was going to be turned to wine.

Afted catching the fishes, he tried the same way which he inherited from the old soul.

At first there were many mistakes such as heat, temperature, timings of in and out. The first fish was a failure. It could be said barely passed.

The second one was also failure.

After failing two times, he considered carefully on what was wrong. He thought and analysed continuously on what was wrong.

Finally on the third fish, it was a success.

After practicing for a few more times he became proficient in it.

With that, he went on to collect medicinal materials in the mountains, so he walked off early. He went and searched, saw various medicines, and collected in the basket.

After collecting till his basket was full, he came back and tried cooking medicinal dish first.

Carefully considering the heat and temperature, he started to boil the water, then put the herbs one by one, sometimes at regular temperature and heat, sometimes by irregular temperature and heat.

It could be said that each herb has different properties and functions. For example when he selected the four-patterned clover leaf, it is to clear blood vessels and make the digestive system more comfortable, so it is put at regular temperature and heat. When he selected purple leaf, it is said to clear the body, mind and soul giving a fresh feeling. It is put at irregular heat and temperature.

This nearly took three hours of cooking medicinal dish.

Xin was sweaty and he washed up then put on neat clothes then opened the pot, stirred slowly at a certain rhythm. After doing so, he took a scoup of bowl for the seniors to try themselves.

After scouping the dish in a bowl, he gave the two seniors to try it. As the two seniors tasted it, they couldn't help but be amazed.

" Not bad, Not bad, its very pleasing to the eye. The dish, it is worth it. It's worth giving you my inheritance." The old soul laughed delightly.

Even the old senior couldn't help but comment a little.

The two took out the soul wine drank heartily with the dish.

At this side, Xin couldn't help but overjoyed and he himself started to taste it. Digesting the dish, he tasted himself and thinking whats wrong with it. Every dish has its own unique charisma, so he analysed again and again till perfection thinking of a solution.

His nose sniffed aroma of a wine. He didn't know that this aroma is very strong, and it's the scent of an soul wine where two seniors drink.

He couldn't endure the smell and then he stole a jug of soul wine and drank it.

He suddenly lost consciousness and slept for four days.

When he woke up, he felt that his soul has become stronger and he could see every inch of his surrondings within 50,000 Km of radius. That is to say, if someone comes within this rage, he could escape early. Though the strong ones won't bother the weak.

Seeing his confusion he asked the seniors: "Seniors, I am sorry for stealing the jug of wine, it gave me a strong desire to drink. But I want to ask the seniors that why can I sense everything within 50,000 Km of radius?"

This words both shocked the old man and the old soul. They both looked at each other with wide eyes and couldn't help being stunned for sometime.

Seeing each other, they both wildly and heartily till they are very content.

The old soul explained: "It is nothing, don't be worried about it. The thing that you can sense with 50,000 Km of radius is a great benefit. This thing is called Divine sense or Soul sense or Spiritual sense. Normally cultivators come in contact with this when they reach the Mortal Earth which is a long road for you. But you are lucky to have this sense at this early stage which will benefit you a lot. But remember, there are stages of divine sense, even the Cooking, Alchemy, Talisman, Inscription, Poison, Painting, Calligraphy, Musical instruments. Whatever path you choose it has laws. There is even a Mental state and Soul sate. To make your Soul and Mental state stronger, you have to temper it."
