723 Ah-Si Is Dead Meat

Xiu laughed awkwardly as she looked at Xin Xiaoli apologetically. The latter's gaze at her had been penetrating for a long while. Xiao Li had actually been amused to see everyone treating Xiu like this. He had a complicated feeling which he couldn't describe in words. But felt really relaxed seeing everyone's attention on her. 

He gave Xiu a reassuring smile and shook his head. He could tell what was running through her mind and it bothered him. He didn't want her to think about any of it again.

Xiu didn't know why but it didn't make her feel any good. She already knew that once her Clara mom got wind of this incident, things were gonna get complicated. And she was right because Clara won't let this go without a fight. Even if she had to take someone down with her, Clara Cartwright would still fight till the end for her family.
