Having returned to her senses Serena pleaded to and finally got Julius to allow her to walk on her own two feet since, she'd realized the party was on their way to the throne room where all the survivors of their invasion had been gathered.

The joy she felt at being carried like a princess by a conquering hero was finally overtaken by the shame she'd feel being seen in that compromised position by all the people who once looked to her with reverence as their queen.

The party entered the throne room, the slaves that Zeff controlled had taken up a perimeter position while all the palace survivors were sorted into neat rows where they kneeled in a sieza before the throne.

Following the present act when they entered, Serena took up her position on the throne while the others took up position on her sides.
