Chapter 14: Selection Ceremony

"Your other plan ?" Le asked Tyron, Tyron then explained his plan…

"Well, I have quite a good idea.

Why don't we create a own mystic realm and say its a inheritance left by a great figure, a figure of the Everlasting Divine sect. First of all we could establish our sect, not only an ancient one but also as a strong one with many treasures.

Of course, one of the problems is the treasures, well more or less, if we have too strong treasures people will ask themselves if the Everlasting Divine sect have even more, and as already mentioned we simply cant kill of them while being low-key.

Nonetheless we first have to gather information about all the enemies of the Shao Family since we want to exterminate all of them, it would be quite fortunate to have a servant or a bootlicker from their family serve us. These people don't have any morals anyways.

But back to the original topic, with this mystic realm we could filter out the most talented young people, and those who are able to rely on themselves. With that we can test their will and ability a win win.

By then the top 100 youngsters under the age of 20 will have the change to be invited by our sect.

We then will have something like a combine where we will test their cultivation, talent, aptitude for alchemy and other proficiencies and their bloodline.

Then after 1 week of relaxing all of them will get another invitation this time to the Selection ceremony, however this time only the top 50 will get invited.

With this we can determine who is willing to give it all even though they have gotten a invitation, furthermore we can even test their ability even if they think they are on the safe side since they received an invitation. Additionally to that we can cut the half reducing the people in the secondary sect.

The Selection ceremony will be held in the main hall, and I hope it will be one of the biggest events of their lives…" Tyron stopped for a second as he looked at this majestic sight, flying clouds that carry buildings, a floating tree that has many other trees around it that are also flying; all of them carrying beautiful fruits.

Just then Le said:

"Could you please get back on track…" although he also had to admit that he understood Tyron to the deepest if his heart, this sight was truly majestic.

"Ahem, first of all every family who has someone that is selected will be receiving a invitation to attend to the ceremony.

Then, they will be escorted to the valley by carriages carried by dragons, of course these dragons will have control over a spacial gate. Furthermore every family will get one guardian assigned to them, escorting them to the valley.

At that time all of them will receive seats while the two of u are in front of them standing at a podium. We then will select the top 10 prospects as Shao Kang will continue with the other 40. The first 10 will instantly be inner disciples.

This will be a major event in the history of Azure Dragon Continent, and it will attract more and more geniuses." Tyron added, his master plan was to him flawless and even Le was quite speechless, right now he had no words and even if he tried he simply couldn't find any.

"This is really amazing." Le spoke as he added a question.

"We have 2 days left until we get to the empire or more specifically the Shao family.

Should we start creating the mystic realm ?"

"Shao Wen! Why have you called all of the disciples back to the sect?" A old woman shouted her voice was loud and sounded through the whole manor. She had gray hair and wore many jewelry like a golden necklace with a dragon head, her eyes were white, giving her the look of a blind woman.

"Old Lan, this is a matter all of us are curious to know, not only your disciple came back to the family. All of our disciples came back." Another woman added, she however was in her 20s or at least she looked like a woman who was in her 20s.

Her body was petite and her face was extremely pretty, her eyes were jade green and she had long hair that was open, therefore everyone was able to see her clean and glowing hair.

"Old witch Ying and Old Lan calm down. I am sure the patriarch has a reason for this." Shao Wu said, trying to calm down these two old women.

Just then a aura suppressed them, it was of course none other than their own patriarch, Shao Wen. Among the group of the 12 elders who were gathered in the manor he truly was the most domineering one.

"My junior brothers and sisters, in the last few months we have endured enough, yesterday I have received some news…" Before he could even end his sentence.

"From the main branch ?" Shao Wu stood up from his seat, exclaiming excitement with a tone of relief in his voice.

"Not really… Its a other force, something even surpassing the empire and the main branch. Its also not one of the main branches." Shao Wen explained with a serious face expression.

"Brother please enlighten us." Old Lan spoke as he looked with deep eyes at Shao Wen, he then nodded and spoke 3 words.

"Everlasting. Divine. Sect."
