Chealsea's POV

It's so ironic that the weather in Panay Island mimics the ones we have in Sorsogon. Rainy even in the driest months. The sky poured as the night deepened. It was romantic as I watched the sudden downpour. We were in Alice's abode as we will spend the night there per their tradition.

Her house was set in one of the hills overlooking the center of the community. I could clearly see from afar some lovers running for cover as the rain started pouring. They looked so sweet as a man was giving his straw hat made from banig to shelter the girl so she wouldn't get wet. It was like watching a sweet love affair unfolding right before your eyes. The alcohol was slowly leaving my system as I stood near her window observing the village folks.
