Chapter 7: God level talent

"Long time no see old Yang." Feng patriarch said with a rare smile hanging on his face. "Welcome toy Feng family small ceremony old Yang." Feng Tian added.

"Well well, brother Feng, what a marvelous son you have, i couldn't be miss to see the rise of a second Feng Tian with the little life i have.

The Feng family has an unexplainable relations with the Yang family. This is a fact that everyone in Emerald City is well aware of. Some rumours are secretly revolving around Emerald City that the rise of the Yang family is secretly related to the Feng family while others claim that the Yang family is a secret subordinate of the Feng family. Whether these claims are true or not only the two families can tell. But what stands is that, none of the two families have stood out to clear the doupts.

"Such bustling occasion, if the old me is left behind, then that would truely be laughable, old Feng, old Yang it's been a long time since we last met.

"Old Li need not to be polite, welcome to our Feng family. Since everyone is here then we shall no longer delay and immediately begin the talent measuring ceremony. I will urge the elders of my Feng family to take us through." Feng Tian said while gazing at the crowd.

At this moment several elders of the Feng family stood in front of the large stone pillar. At the middle of this group of elders stood a thin elder. He had a long beared that stretched long and rested on his chest, his skin appeared to have weathered along with the flow of time. He appeared to be nearing the end of his life.

"Today is the day where many of you converge in my Feng family to witness the test ceremony. I take this opportunity to call upon all the youngsters of our Feng family to step in front so that we can proceed with the occasion." The seemingly thin and weak elder said as his voice echoed around the Hall.

As the elder's voice fall, several youngsters walked and stood in front of the elders. Some had anxious expressions while others had static facial expressions. At the very back, stood Feng Li. He had a relaxed and calm expression. It was like whatever that was happening had nothing to do with him.

"In our Feng family, the reason why the talent measuring ceremony is conducted when one is five years of age is because of two reasons. The first reason is, at five years of age one's bod and meridians is at its perfect condition and the blood is more vibrant hence at this phase, the results of the test is perfectly true. The second reason is that the test is conducted just before one starts cultivation so as we are able to discern the level of talents as far as the young generation is concernes. The thin elder explained.

"Now let the ceremony officially begin, the first to undergo the test is Feng Xue, step forward." The elder said.

At this moment a young girl stepped forward and stood before the stone pillar. Her back was facing the crowd of youngsters. Although she was young, her age did not disappoint her level of beauty. She had a blue robe covering her elegant figure. Taking a closer look one could even see through her nearly transparent dress. Her jade like skin as soft as silk immersed in a milky fluid. Truely, she was a beauty.

Standing before the stone pillar, she tool a knife from her small bag on her shoulder. Using the knife, she cut a tiny mark on her finger. Blood started to ooze out as it fall on the stone pillar. As the blood fall on the stone pillar, it continued flowing following the pattern engraved on the stone platform. As soon as the blood covered the whole pattern, blinding light came forth as the blood disappeared. For a moment nothing happened as everyone held their breaths.

"She should be able to light the green or even the blue stone i think." A young man sitting at the middle of the hall said to his female friend.

"Green stone, you really are looking down on her very much. Is it because she is a girl?" The young girl sitting next to the youth Said while rolling her eyes filled with disdain towards the youth.

"I was just commenting." The young man replied while completely depressed.

On the platform, the young girl continuously stared on the stone pillar not battering an inch. After two breaths of time, the blinding light surrounding the stone pillar started to disappear and the stone pillar once again appeared in front of everyone.

"Impossible."

"This...this...how is this even possible." Several people inside the hall had eyes widened and the mouths wide open.

Om the stone pillar, a red stone was brightly lit. All the elders of the Feng family had stood up staring at the stone pillar with joyous expressions on their faces.

After Feng Xue's results, several other youngsters appeared on the platform. Others had relatively descent results while others had mediocre results.

The test continued on until when the sun was at the last phase of the day. At this time, Feng Li was standing in front of the stone pillar and cut a small mark of his finger. As blood touched the pattern, it flowed and a blinding light covered the whole stone pillar.

Boom! Boom!

A bluster was heard from the stone pillar blusted apart banging flying all the youngsters close to the stone pillar.

After the light had fully disappeared, everyone's gaze was glued on the stone pillar.

"What's going on."

"I don't understand this."

The stone pillar was silent as no stone was lit. Seeing this scene, the Feng family patriarch was still calm. "I ask everyone to live the hall." He calmly said.

At this time only the the three patriarchs, the elders and Fu Lin were in the hall staring at the stone pillar.

Bang! Bang!

At this time a boom was heard.

"That voice came from the hall it's the stone pillar." Some one shouted loudly as everyone ignored the Patriarch's orders and rushed back to the hall.

As the Patriarch saw everyone return he had no expression as he stared at the stone pillar calmly.

A blinding light came forth as the stone pillar elongated forming a new stone level which was shinning with a purple light.

"What is that...a new stone level has emerged." One of the elders applauded.

"God level talent." The grand elder of the Feng family slowly said with a scared tone.
