A monster in the temple

As night was starting to lure in as they continued to explore around the temple. Bashira and Genji were about to leave the temple since there was nothing here. But, for some reason they weren't able to leave it was some kind of force field. "What the-" Bashira said as she tried to attack the force field and did it nothing. Genji looked around a bit thinking. "Let's try another exit, there has to be one" They start running another exit in the temple and it seems they weren't able to get through either.

Bashira was getting a little nervous. She didn't like the feel of being trapped in one area, she slowly started to hyperventilate.

Genji looked at her and tried to calm her down. "It's okay, it's okay. We'll get out, we just have to look for a way...there's no way we can't get out..we just have to keep looking" Genji continues to look around, he notices he isn't able to go outside the area. But, they were just able to a few hours ago. Genji thinks of a plan "we might have to sleep the night in the temple" He says thinking and tells her the plan. She isn't a big fan of the idea but, she decided that it might be a good idea.

They sleep in a large room with the two leaning on the wall. They were half asleep like what dolphins do when the ocean, the two slept with one eye open. They slept with at least like that for the entire night. When they woke up, they continued to look around with more until Genji saw a puddle with an eye. "What the hell?" He said shocked and then flesh started to form around the temple.

Bashira saw this and she started to attack the flesh but it kept forming around the wound, forming faster. The two then just started running as the flesh was forming around the temple, basically absorbing the temple slowly. Bashira started jumping back to different temple areas and the same with Genji. They didn't know what to do, they didn't how to counter this. The flesh start forming sliming looking tentacles and started swiping at Bashira and Genji. They both started attacking with their swords as it kept slowly regenerating the tentacles. "Shit we're gonna be in trouble.." Genji said as it forming more tentacles and attacking them both. Bashira kept evading the attack and Genji was parrying the tentacles. They were gonna be in trouble
