Sudden Violence

Dalvin was startled by the sudden change in events before him. While he expected some interference from the casino and so had his guard up, he never expected that he would be a witness to an actual crime and that because of that fact, he was about to become a statistic on the afternoon news.

Anyone who had a gun pointed at them would enter the same state as Dalvin, no matter their strength, and that was an alert and tense state. Adrenaline pumped through his body, and even without his control, his blood qi began to mobilize wildly.

Things seemed to slow down in his eyes, allowing him to witness the man in the passenger seat who raised the sub-machine gun to his torso's level and press the trigger. Right away, the bullets came spraying out of the nozzle in a group, spreading out due to recoil and covering the area around where Dalvin stood.
