Prologue

The moon cast an ethereal glow upon the serene bamboo forest as Bai Feng Hu gracefully moved through the shadows. Her flowing white robes trailed behind her as she emerged into a small clearing, where the sound of rustling leaves and the scent of imminent danger filled the air.

Bai Feng Hu, an immortal white nine-tailed fox, stood tall and graceful, her eyes shining with a mix of determination and sorrow.

A figure stepped forward, his stance confident and his eyes filled with determination. It was Yun Che, Bai Feng Hu's lover, and devoted disciple, who had once sworn loyalty and love to her. But now, his gaze held a coldness that pierced her heart.

"Yun Che," she called out, her voice tinged with a mixture of anguish and defiance, "how could you betray our love? Was it all a lie?" her delicate features contorted with a mix of pain and anger.

"Bai Feng Hu," Yun Che's voice echoed through the stillness, his words dripping with coldness. "I never loved you. All this time, it was merely a ruse, a mission I was entrusted with as a transmigrator."

Bai Feng Hu's eyes widened in disbelief. Yun Che's expression remained unyielding as he drew his sword, the glimmering blade catching the moonlight. "You are the villainess in this story, Bai Feng Hu. It is my mission to end your reign of darkness."

With a flick of his wrist, Yun Che launched himself forward, his movements swift and precise. Bai Feng Hu, her fury ignited, unleashed her formidable martial arts skills. Her nine tails swirled around her, leaving trails of shimmering energy in their wake.

As Bai Feng Hu stumbled backward, her bloodied lips curled into a mocking smile, defying the pain that consumed her. She looked up at Yun Che with defiant eyes, her voice a whisper, "Is this the end you desired, Yun Che? To watch me fall into the abyss, forsaken by the one who claimed to love me?"

Yun Che met her gaze with cold eyes, his heart hardened by his mission. He pushed her towards the edge of the courtyard, watching her descend into the dark depths below with unflinching resolve.

Bai Feng Hu let out a mocking smile as crimson blood trickled from the corner of her cherry-like lips. Falling into the abyss, she refused to avert her gaze from the person who had betrayed and pushed her to her death. In response, that person only looked at her coldly, devoid of the once-loving and warm gaze, leaving behind only ruthlessness.

As Bai Feng Hu's strength waned, her vision also dimmed. She closed her eyes and welcomed death's embrace.
