After saying that, Xiu Wu looked at Zhu Lin silently. He waited for a few minutes, but Zhu Lin remained silent.
Seeing her like this, he smiled sadly and said, "Lin'er, can't you forgive me? I know I failed to keep our promise before. But wasn't everything that I did right now is for our future? I can't watch you die for me and do nothing. Even if you hate me and never forgive me, I still love you, my wife. I hope one day you can understand and forgive me."
Ji Yang and Tan Wei who were standing on the side were shocked and speechless. Both of them knew that it was not their best friend who was speaking now, but the consciousness living inside Xiu Wu's mind.
