The Scattered Corpses
While Tan Wei, Ji Yang and Xiu Wu were still making eye contact, Zhu Lin had already finished the simple cloak. She put down the needle, stood up, and put on the cloak. Touching the cloak, she was satisfied that the ice silk fabric felt cool and smooth to the touch, and could completely protect the skin from the hot temperature.
Tan Wei saw Zhu Lin picking up the scissors on the low table and trying to cut the cloak short, so he quickly stopped her.
"Xiao Lin, don't!"
Startled by Tan Wei's sudden shout, Zhu Lin stopped her hand, and then looked at him with questioning eyes.
"Don't cut it. Can you sell me this cloak instead?" Tan Wei asked as he looked at Zhu Lin expectantly.
Hearing his request, Zhu Lin looked at the cloak that was too long for her, and at Tan Wei who was taller than her. A few seconds later, she handed him the cloak and calmly said, "Here, you can have it."
