Who is she?
"Darn! I'm really late for the meeting."Deven mumbled to himself as he rushed into the building.
Unknown to him there was mud on his shoes and he unintentionally smeared the floor with it.
"Hey, Hey What are you doing? Are you blind or something? Can't you see I just had that portion of the floor cleaned up and now you have increased my workload! Are you being serious?! Aren't you going to say anything?If not defending yourself could you at least be kind enough to apologise for what you've done! Forget apologizing at least be brave enough to own up to your mistake!"Emma yelled non stop with no care in the world of who it was she was yelling at or at the piercing gazes of everyone.
Deven stood still completely doumbfounded at the sight of the frail creature before him.Till this day, no one has ever been able to look him in the eye when speaking let alone yell at him.People shuddered at the mere mention of his name but this woman is completely different. Who the hell is this woman who had the audacity to yell at him this way? Who is she?...
"Hey!Cat cut your tongue? I'm asking you to..."Emma stood up at that moment and was shocked at the face of the person she saw.
"You!"Emma shrilled in shock.
Deven was also surprised by her."So she's the one! I should've known because no man let alone a woman would have ever dared to speak to me in the way this mannerless woman has done. No problem, in times to come she shall pay for her mistake."Deven thought to himself.
"You? What are you doing here? No not that, why are you here? Did you follow all the way here simply because I refused to pick up your files? Are you a stalker? Are you stalking me?"Emma bombarded him with questions one after the other.
"Speak up! Why are you....?"
"Emma!"Maya thundered in the background.
At that moment Emma was so startled she instantly swallowed the remaining words she wanted to say.
Maya took fast strides towards Emma attempting to hit her but her friend Natalie arrived in the nick of time and got in the way. She gave Maya a look reminding her of Deven's presence. Maya understood and mellowed down instantly putting on a facade of a kind and gentle person.
"Emma how can you speak to him that way?Do you know who he is? He is Mr Quinn. The owner of Quinn group of industries. He owns the largest shopping malls in the city and the largest five star hotels. He has won the title of 'business man of the century' all because he has achieve great heights at such a young age and you dared speak to him that way? Emma you shouldn't have spoken to him like that so apologise to him. Maya explained ever so sweetly that Emma became frightened.
