I stared at him with suspicious eyes and suddenly a thought came to my mind.

Hearing his words, I felt ashamed of thinking such a thing. I really wanted to dig a hole and hide but since I only thought kept that to my mind, I didn't have to.

When I looked into his eyes, he looked very confused. Only then did I realize that I haven't answered him yet.

"Sorry for taking so long! I was just surprised at how well everything went. First, I met Josh and others. Then, I also get a chance to name my race which is kinda cool."

"Don't worry, Sword King! I will put my mind and body into my training." I clenched my fists and replied with a great determination in my eyes. I don't know where that determination was coming from but I knew I had to say something.

You don't expect to live if you aren't working for a living. And not to mention, this is a new opportunity for me, something that I didn't even dream of before.

Actually, the reason why I didn't dream was that I didn't know the plot, or else I would've dreamed of me getting a powerful inheritance right from the start.

"That's the spirit. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to leave. Miss Jane, show him my quarter and you must arrive there tomorrow morning after breakfast." Sword King gave him the time and finally left.

"Hoo! That was so intense."

Next to me, Josh and others fell on their knees and started breathing fast.

"What happened? Why are guys out of breath?" I looked at them and asked.

Josh looked at me with a helpless expression and said.

"Dude, we just met the King Rank Hunter. Do you even know how honorable that is?"

I looked at him suspiciously and then turned at Jane. She nodded her head and spoke.

"Normally, only Kingdom Level Threats make a King Rank Hunter walk out of their quarter. So, it is very rare to see one walking around. Sword King is normally even more mysterious."

"Even I barely talk to him so close one or two times a year even though I am Oni Rank Hunter."

I put my hand on my chin and thought 'This is really suspicious. First, how did he know about my existence so fast? Second, he could've made me his disciple and I wouldn't have disagreed so why not?'

'More importantly, it felt like he was talking to me with respect. I am not even a Slime Rank Hunter. Why would a King Rank hunter has to show me such respect?"

"Don't think too much! Since you got an opportunity, just grab it." Jane patted my shoulder and took me out of my thoughts.

"Well, since a beautiful lady such as yourself is showing such concern, then I should probably follow it." I smiled and nodded at her while trying to be a little sarcastic.

Wait, do you guys think that I am sarcastic enough? Because you know what's coming next. No matter how many times you have seen this in other novels, no matter how many times you have seen this in anime or manga, you know what happens when a weak mc tries to flirt with a strong-headed girl.

Yep, just as you guessed it. I got a punch on my stomach but thankfully, she didn't pierce me. Three holes in a man don't suit him at all.

Maybe she understands this as well.

"Josh, take him to your room for now. I will find a proper room for him and his ID will be ready within a week. After that, he can start his hunt." Jane turned around and left without even giving me a second glance.

Come on, just because I am on my knees, holding my stomach doesn't mean you get to ignore me like that.

"You should really stop that mouth of yours. She has a bad history with people like you." Josh sighed and helped me up but when I heard his words, I got fired up.

I reacted instantly and pointed my finger at him, saying "Don't you dare compare me to those ugly bastards. I might do the stuff they do if I get a chance, but I am not ugly."

Josh raised his hand and slapped my head.

"I am not calling you ugly. And, she also has a bad history with handsome guys."

I opened my mouth wide hearing that.

'F*ck! Don't tell me she was sold to the brothel?'

"Don't bring this in front of her! She hates it." Megumi stared at my jaw-dropping face and spoke while closing her eyes. It felt like she could read my mind.

'I know, you elf beauty. But what I don't know is how you know what I think. Don't tell me it is written all over my face? It better be written in black or else it won't be official.'

I shook my head after having such crazy thoughts and said "Anyway, can we go and eat something first? I am feeling hungry. And, I also want to explore this city."

"Not today! First, Beth will take you to our room until we submit our task. After that, five of us will come with the food. You need to rest today. After your training with Sword King, we can hang out tomorrow evening." Josh shook his head and pushed me near Beth.

Beth nodded his head and walked away "Follow me!"

I got no choice but to follow him. Of course, they also followed us since there was only one door.

After reaching back to the reception desks, I couldn't help but glance at those beautiful elves once again. To tell you the truth, I was barely able to hold myself from flirting with them.

Although I have seen the main characters of the novels getting a harem of beautiful ladies from predestined fate, aphrodisiacs, and playing heroes. But, I don't believe I can become one of them.

If the beauty is in trouble, I will help her. But, only if that is something I can fight. But then again, even if I can't fight the enemy, I won't die at least, right?

Well, I only have one life and I cherish it a lot, so much so that I put the sword in my neck and sliced it in half. So, I can't say that I can't play hero but who knows I might not get an opportunity.

As for predestined fate, well I already got one on the first day of my arrival in this world. So, it would be hard to get the next one.

As for Aphrodisiac, I won't use it even if I remain a virgin which I am not. But, using aphrodisiacs is something I personally detest, so I will wait until someone else uses it and take advantage of the situation.

But, none of these options are available right now. So, my only option is to flirt with the girls. Who knows they might get attracted.

"Hello Ladies, are….. Ow, ow, hey, stop it, let go of my ear." I put a gentlemanly smile on my face as I approached the elf next to Jane. But, just as I moved, Beth caught my ear and pulled me away.

"Dude, I was just trying to get laid. Why are you stopping me?"

I shouted at him as he took me to the second floor of the Guild Hall. Hearing my question, he turned around and stared into my eyes.

"Do you want to get another hole from Jane?"

"Nope! I am satisfied being a man."
