Li jie open his eyes, he was still laying in the grass, everything that happened that nigth felt like a dream to him, but the blinkness of his left eyes and the pain coming from his it told him it definitely real.

touching his forehead he remembered that the woman has put something inside his mind, but after he tried very hard to summon the void that was inside his mind, he found out it was really impossible.

he's stomach grumble because of hunger "hungry...i must return" he patted his back and grab the firewood that has fall from his back, Li Jie decided to think that things that happened to him later. and started walking back to the Ming residents to grab something to eat.

Jie Ling's father was Wang Li Shaoli ,he was the leader of Wang clan,but when he and other male members of there clan ,go to an expedition to find a cure for his mothers illness, they never came back.

shortly after Li Jie's mother Da Xia succumbed to her illness, leaving him and her sister Chi Wuyao to fend for themselves.

the female cultivators nodded coldly before flying to there profound ark and disappear to the sky taking Chi Wuyao with them.

Li Jie collapse on the ground he never have thought that her sister will follow those cultivators because of him, he hated his parents for leaving them so early, he hated this family for treating them so coldy, and most of all he hated himself for being able to anything.

Bai Li was his Uncle Bai Hao's first Son he was 11 years old ,1 year older than Li Jie, he is already at qi absorption 8, and was considered to be a genius in there generations. he has black hair, chiselled face,and a beefy body unfit for his age.

Li Jie ignored him because he was too hungry to care, he walk pass him without batting an eyelid.

"hmmp...i guess i won't lose my puching bag after all" Bai Li said. the other children's beside him started laughing.

the Male and Female children of Wang family practice cultivation at the age of 5 years and they often reach qi absorbion stage 1 after 1 year of training as for those gifted one's they reach it faster, as for the later stage i will only became harder and longer.

so Bai Li being qi absorption 8 at 11years old of age is already be called incredible. thats they he became the star of Wang clan he also receive the most cultivation resources in the younger generation.

when they were young they are very close to each other. but after her father has suddenly disappear because he followed Li Jie's father, she started to distance herself from him.Li jie thinks that she was blaming him for the death of his father. but Li Jie didnt have the know if apologizing to her will do a thing to fix the gap between them or even worsen it, so he decided to not tell her anything.

Wei Fang only stared at Li jie for a short while before turning around to follow Bai Li and the other children.

"arrgh" Li jie grunted in a silent manner before standing up, that punch almost broke his ribs but thanks to his luck, that didn't happened.

he patted his old and dirty robe before collecting the wood that has spattered to the ground after that *accident*

"hays...i need to find something to eat" Li Jie murmured to himself as he resume walking to the Wang Family Kitchen
