Immorally Impractical Immortal

Arius had played the role of a hero many times, but he's also been the villain in other people's lives. You save some and you ruin others, he was never a saint. If one wishes for death, it could never be granted. To live forever was a fate worse than death, at least when you're alone for the punishment. Truly, love was a dangerous thing, and Arius had avoided it for centuries. Unfortunately, one day it suddenly came to slap him in the face. In fact, it quite literally felt like being crushed by a building. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Well, what do you have to say for yourself?" "I love you...?" "Do you realize I already know that?" "Yes." "Then why do you say it all the damn time?!" She tried to storm off but was suddenly stopped by the hand that grabbed hers. "For fun." He grinned. She glanced at his hand before saying blankly, "It was a rhetorical question." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Wise folks say only fools rush in, so they were all fools. ___________ (I changed the titled back to Immorally Immortal) Cover credits: Myself! Kind of messed up on it though... oh well. So... I've decided to move to wattpad. I guess this is bad news if you care? I'll cease to update on webnovel! I had in the past promised to not scratch this story, and i won't, just... Wattpad gives me more options in my writing style. - Overall, moving things over is complicated, I don't exactly know what I'm doing.

Trouble at the Door

His light brown hair was slightly messy, as were his clothes. He had his feet up on the coffee table while he leaned against the backrest. Arius knew he needed a haircut, but it wasn't like he could leave the house, not that he wanted to anyway.

Arius hadn't realized that Asrael was the type to wake up early. He was up before the sun, and he looked neat and well groomed. His blonde, almost white hair was combed down, while his black T-shirt and black jeans had barely any wrinkles.

"He has risen." Arius announced, to no one since they were the only two on the main floor.

Asrael didn't say anything witty back as he plopped himself down beside Arius, and the two sat for a moment in blissful silence.

"I think I'm in love." Arius blurted out, and the look he got from Asrael was out of this world.

"I'm not into you." Was his response.

"I'm not talking about you." Arius smiled a bit.

Asrael turned his gaze towards the painting of a red haired girl, and then raised his figure to point. "Her? That's called pedophilia in this century."

"Nope, not her. Guess again."

Asrael put his arm down and thought for a moment before coming to a conclusion and making an 'oh' sound. Then they both reverted back to minding their own business.

Time dragged out as they did their own things on their phones. The next person to walk down the stairs was Dante, and he didn't speak a word as he very casually walked to Arius's side and sat down.

His hair wasn't messy or neat, and he was very particular about his choice of clothing. They were very dull but light, and not at all childish. He liked that they had no obvious logos or references to any programs for children.

Somehow, Zuna and Eirik came down together. Well, it wasn't much of a mystery as it wasn't hard to guess that Eirik had waited for Zuna.

That day was similar to yesterday, and everything was rather calm. Until of course Eirik left to work on catching his criminal. Zuna was very serious about watching him leave, and once he was out of sight she excitedly went over to Arius.

"Can I invite some people over?"

Arius was rather surprised she knew anyone, but that wasn't really the point. "Aren't we grounded?"

"Dad's idea of grounding is just not letting us leave the house."

"Then why did you have to wait for him to leave?" Arius grinned.

"Because he wouldn't agree to it." She said it so shamelessly that Arius almost thought there was nothing wrong with her logic.

"I guess if Eirik doesn't find out it'll be fine." Arius shrugged. He didn't really care, if anything actually happened he doubted the punishment could really be all that bad.

"Thank you!" Zuna had a mini celebration before jumping to her phone and calling someone.

Asrael had heard the conversation, and he himself also wanted to invite some people over. When he brought it up, Arius figured he was talking about a few people from Chrysanthemum. He was wrong.

In no less than twenty minutes, the doorbell rang and Zuna ran to answer it, but stopped before she got too close. She couldn't make her death radius go less than a foot outward and she cursed under her breath.

Asrael walked past her and opened the door without a word. He smiled a bit upon seeing two girls standing outside. "Glad you could make it."

Zuna took a look outside at the two girls and turned around to leave, she wasn't the one that called them over.

"I wouldn't miss it!" Said the blonde girl, and Arius recognized her as Chrysanthemum as his face fell. The girl next to her was Bethany.

Both Arius and Dante looked at each other as Asrael welcomed the two girls inside. Chrysa seemed to be earnest and pure, while Beth might have a few edgy moments in the future.

As they went to go sit down somewhere, the doorbell rang again. Zuna looked as if she saw heaven, and Arius knew immediately that trouble was at the door.

I've been busy with school and I haven't had time to update. Not that anyone cares... Ah, whatever, I'll make time for my beloved, Arius.
