Immorally Impractical Immortal

Arius had played the role of a hero many times, but he's also been the villain in other people's lives. You save some and you ruin others, he was never a saint. If one wishes for death, it could never be granted. To live forever was a fate worse than death, at least when you're alone for the punishment. Truly, love was a dangerous thing, and Arius had avoided it for centuries. Unfortunately, one day it suddenly came to slap him in the face. In fact, it quite literally felt like being crushed by a building. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Well, what do you have to say for yourself?" "I love you...?" "Do you realize I already know that?" "Yes." "Then why do you say it all the damn time?!" She tried to storm off but was suddenly stopped by the hand that grabbed hers. "For fun." He grinned. She glanced at his hand before saying blankly, "It was a rhetorical question." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Wise folks say only fools rush in, so they were all fools. ___________ (I changed the titled back to Immorally Immortal) Cover credits: Myself! Kind of messed up on it though... oh well. So... I've decided to move to wattpad. I guess this is bad news if you care? I'll cease to update on webnovel! I had in the past promised to not scratch this story, and i won't, just... Wattpad gives me more options in my writing style. - Overall, moving things over is complicated, I don't exactly know what I'm doing.

"We're here" Arius said as he parked the car.

"I can see that." Zuna gazed at the large house. "Before I break something, you should know that my ability is unitential. Now, are you rich?"

"I already figured you weren't trying to kill me on purpose, and also If I didn't hide all my money in a forest, I'd be known as the richest man alive." Arius turned around in his seat to face her.

"Impressive." She nodded her head.

The three of them got out of the car and walked into the house. Dante went straight for the kitchen though, it was safe to say that he felt right at home here.

Arius guided his guest to the living area. "How old are you?" Normally, such a question would be rude to ask, but they were both immortal.

"584." She responded without much change.

"So young? I'm about one thousand." He was slightly surprised that she was so much younger than him.

Dante came walking in with a bag of potato chips. He didn't even bother finding a chair to sit with them, he went to Arius and motioned for him to pick him up. Zuna felt it was adorable the way Arius lifted him onto his lap with so little words.

"I'm 673 years old." Dante said. That kind of shocked Arius, would that mean Dante was older than Zuna? Perhaps he was joking about his age?

"How is that possible?" Zuna's eyes went wide in amazement.

"Asrael said we age slower than most immortals." Dante put a chip into his mouth as he mentioned his brother.

"Who's Asrael?" Zuna was only aware that Dante had a brother. "Is he your brother?"

"Mhm." Dante nodded.

"Where can we find your brother?" Arius asked as he looked down as the small child.

"He's a gang leader." With that, Dante had shocked both Arius and Zuna. "The leader of the Chrysanthemum gang."

"Did he name it that? Cause the name sucks." Arius couldn't believe someone would name a gang after a flower.

"That's my mother's name." Dante wasn't upset, but Arius was still taken aback.

The fact that he just insulted Dante's mother made Arius apologetic. "I mean for a gang, gangs aren't supposed to have beautiful names." Arius tried to explain his thoughts.

"I didn't really know her anyway. I was a hundred years old when she died." Dante put his small hand inside the bag of chips and continued to lift them into his mouth.

"Weird, I looked like I was thirteen when I was one hundred." Zuna sighed. Dante looked so young but he was actually so much older than her.

"Did your brother know your mother well?" Arius asked. Dante nodded while he crammed chips into his mouth.

"We really need to find that brother of yours." Zuna curled a strand of hair around her finger.

"Why?" Dante narrowed his eyes in question.

"Well, he knows so much, we could benefit from knowing him." Zuna explained.

"He's a bad person though." Dante looked gloomily up at the hazel eyed 'young' women.

"That's why we need to get him under control." Arius said in answer.

"Hm, let's do that then." Dante nodded. He seemed to be a lot more obedient to Arius.

"Where can we find him?" Zuna tilted her head as she looked at Dante.

"I don't know, they move the gang a lot." Dante shrugged.

"I'll have Pierre look into it." Arius picked up his phone, he had it on the table.

"You treat that boy like a slave." Zuna shook her head. She had known Arius for about an hour, but she could already tell how he treated Pierre on a regular basis.

"He still sticks around, so he must like it." Arius said as he typed away at his phone. Hazuna scoffed as she pulled out her own phone. "No, It's dead!" She looked shocked. "This is bad..."

"It wouldn't be dead if you had a Cloud phone. Their battery life is-" Arius began advertising his old conpany, but he got cut off by Zuna's desperate need of battery life.

"Shut up! Do you have a charger?" Zuna asked eagerly.

"I only own chargers from cloud, so no." Arius shook his head. He didn't understand what the big deal was. She looked at him, exasperated.

She stood up quickly. "Oh my God, I really have to go." She handed him a strip of paper that she pulled out of her pocket. "This is my number."

Ah, but little did she know, it was too late. The man that followed her around like a shadow had arrived.
