Let's be friends again

...….. and Samuel could be seen with a slight smile on his face .

Rita turned just in time to catch a glimpse of that small smile etched on his face before it was gone as if it was never there . Rita also smiled seeing the flustered face of Samuel in front of her .

Samuel turned to Rita and gathering some guts , he said with a straight face , "Miss Rita , I am very impressed as well as happy for the project that would thankfully be in collaboration with you and so I was thinking , if you mind us being friends ? "

' Again '

Samuel obviously didn't point out the last word but waited for Rita's response .

Rita was a bit taken aback with the sudden friendship offer from Samuel but was also amused at the same time with the straight face with which he asked for it .

It was so funny watching someone being so stiff while asking to be friends at the same time but she suppressed her laugh somehow from cracking up .

But she couldn't figure out one thing again. It was something which felt like déjà vu to her and before she could process it all , her body reacted to the words said as she stretched her hand forward for friendship handshake .

Rita said with a small smile ," Of course , it's my pleasure ."

Samuel reached out his hand as his palm met with the small and pale ones of Rita , just like the time they did seven years ago . He was suddenly electrified with a feeling of overflowing love that was immensely flowing in his veins for the woman in front of him , whom he couldn't forget no matter what .

Samuel resolved to himself , ' If you don't remember me , then I'll have you back Rita . I'll win you back and love you forever . I'll tie you by my side and never let go of you again . I'll make you fall in love with me ...again . And I'll start our love story again .'

Samuel was escorted till the parking lot as he took his leave . Rita came back to her office as she looked back and replayed the events that took place . She could distinctly feel a very good relation with Samuel but she was very confused about how could she be related with a stranger .

She could feel herself flush with shyness whenever she thought about his hand shake touch and his slight smile , his aura , his confidence . But she suddenly frowned when she came across the image of him having a hurt and sad expression as he looked at her . She felt like she was the sole reason of his suffering and she wanted to cure it soon because she felt hurt by the sad expression in his face which he masked so swiftly .

Meanwhile .....

Samuel leaned at the back seat of his car as he replayed the successful meeting he had with Rita . He was curious but sad at the same time .

He was sad that Rita had such a blank expression when she saw him and he was curious as to why she couldn't remember him . He just sighed and closed his eyes and thought of her touch that he felt when she had hand shake with him . He opened his eyes and looked at his palm and sighed back , ' I might as well not wash my hands ever . '

THAT NIGHT

Rita was called upon in the study so that she could give the insights of the deal that she had with Samuel and the type of person she thought he was .

"Samuel seemed to be a very reliable person with a confident aura for obvious and also his project is very well detailed and would be very beneficial for both the companies . I guess that this would be a history because no other elite family business among the three of them have ever collaborated with the Mos and so this would be a successful event in history of business world ."

"You are right , Rota . Very good observation ."

"And dad , grandpa , I guess that we can get public now . I have completed the whole challenge that you handed to me to have one of the company collaborate with us and I think that I have succeeded in the same . "

Both grandpa and father looked at each other and then looked back at Rita as they chuckled at her cute expression of curiosity and desperation .

Yuchen Mo continued ," You can do whatever you want Rita . I'm glad to have handed over the company in rightful hands ."

Rita just beamed with a wide grin and after greeting them goodnight , moved out .

That night , Samuel was visited by his 'childhood sweetheart' but moreover that he was surprised to find that his parents had started their matchmaking session again and this time it seemed to be not just a bluff but a real one .

Samuel was internally groaning with frustration as he was called upon his dad and he made his way towards them .
