Lay you head on my shoulder
Being re unioned with the family after about 7 years , Rita was not only happy but also excited for her new life that she vowed to start by forgetting every bad memory from the past . As she was unpacking her own bag , she suddenly realised that her grandfather was watching he from the door silently .
"Grandpa , what are you doing ,standing there alone ? Come inside ."
Elder Mo came inside the room and sat down at the edge of the bed with Rita . He was quiet for some moments as if he was choosing his words wisely and about a few moments later , he broke the silence .
"Rita , I know that now you are gonna be the CEO of the mighty Mo enterprises and the seat of being the CEO is not something so simple as being a scholar or intelligent like you always have been . I just want you to know that whatever choices you'll make in the future will directly impact the company as well as your image in society . In front of society , you are still a young lady who seems to know nothing about the world but I know what you're capable of …"
Rita was listening his words carefully as he continued on ..
"Just remember that never forget to be your real self like the way you are . I want you to remember that even if things go wrong or you are not happy at some point or you feel stressed out a lot , then your grandpa is still alive and you can always lay a head on you grandpa's shoulder . You will forever be my little Rita ."
"Yes grandpa , I'll remember that ."
Rita smiled and looked up at her grandpa as she laid her head on his shoulder .
IN THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CITY
Having done with the office work , Samuel was just wrapping up that he suddenly felt a sudden feeling of nausea . He felt like something about this city has changed today but he just couldn't pinpoint to what . The feeling was growing stronger minute by minute and he just couldn't shake the feeling of it . He just felt like he was going to encounter the biggest surprise of his life later on and that he won't be able to escape it .
He stood up from his swivel chair and stood along the floor to ceiling glass window of his office . He could see the bustling city from high above and could also see the stars that lit up the night sky .
That night , the moon was shining brighter than usual and not only was he the one to be watching the moon but also a certain someone was watching the same and wondering about her upcoming future . The fate of three people being tangled with each other and their life in the future was something that all these three clueless people wondered about – Rita , Noah and Samuel .
[It indeed has been a long time since I last updated chapters like this ..I want to apologise for this but I myself was stuck in personal problems . I would like to be thankful to all those who still didn't give up and kept supporting me in here and this novel .
