Walking up the stage , Rita was by then all set for her new beginning that was gonna start a few moments from now .

Rita took over the mic and started her introduction

The whole hall of employees were mesmerised by the confidence and manners of their new boss . They were overwhelmed with a new kind of energy and determination . As Rita ended her acceptance speech , the hall boomed with sounds of clapping and excitement . Yuchen Mo was happy seeing his daughter bloom with such a pride that he was on the verge of tears .

After going through a bit more formal activities , the meeting ended and the employees started to move on with their work . Rita was scheduled to start her new day as the CEO from day after tomorrow . The two days were for her to survey the company HQ and to familiarise herself with the new surroundings . She was thrilled to her bones .

That evening , Rita came home tired but with anew kind of fire within her eyes . The fire to finally be the one she had always dreamt of . She darted towards her study room but was blocked midway by the monkey friend , Noah .

Since she was not ready about his sudden surprise of coming in front of her , she was caught off guard and she collided straight with the hard and muscular chest of Noah .

Noah could feel his heart flutter with sudden happiness and excitement , making him have a silly grin on his face . Rita tried to get away from his hold but his iron grip kept her in place as he hugged her tight in a bear hug .

Rita somehow managed to muffle out a voice ,"Release me Noah . You are practically choking me here ."

Realising his mistake , Noah hastily moved away from her, so much that he lost his momentum and caused himself and Rita to fall to the matted ground .

The situation and air between them suddenly got awkward . Rita was on top of Noah with both of their faces inches away from each other .
