Yes, I Do.

Night fell and Yennefer, who had been washed by the maids, walked towards the bed clad in her night dress.

She laid down to go to sleep but got up in the next few minutes when she found herself unable to sleep.

She looked around the room and unhurriedly ambled towards the window.

She pushed the windows open and looked out far into the city that was devoid of people.

She had heard from Livia that the emperor had given an eight pm curfew, so no one was allowed outside by eight pm except the knights who patrolled with their horses.

She doesn't know why he gave her this curfew.

A soft smile formed on her face, and she found herself chuckling.

It was unbelievable to think that she would one day find herself in a world she had always assumed was a fantasy.

A world filled with magic... although the magic is almost wiped out.

A deep breath exited her nose, and she quickly turned around when she heard the door open.

Her eyes fell on none other than Luthiel, and before she could say a word, he hurried towards her and gripped her harshly by the arm.

"Escape is the last thing you should think of unless you want your head off your body."

He warned her and proceeded to push her away from the window.

"Wait, I wasn't-"

Something abruptly catching their attention, they both went quiet and turned to look down below within the castle wall.

There, near the pond, which was sparkling under the dark clouds filled with stars, the twins from earlier stood, speaking and suspiciously exchanging something with one another.

"What... are they doing?" Yennfer asked, and without saying a word, Luthiel let go of her hand and rushed towards William's chamber.

Without knocking, he pushed the door open and looked at the king-sized bed to see William sleeping soundly with the fubby sheet covering half of his body.

A slight breath of relief exited his nose and he gently closed the door.

He walked off and proceeded downstairs and out of the building to confront the twins, but what he didn't expect was to see Yennefer sneaking up toward the twins.

His face instantly darkened In annoyance and without making a sound, he walked up to Yennefer, gripped her by the arm, and dragged her away.

"Back to your chambers!" He ordered her, and without waiting for a response from her, he stormed off towards the twins.

He arrived behind Damon, and immediately feeling his presence, Damon and Ayana turned to look at him.

"What is your business out here?"

He asked, and Damon half smiled at him.

"I am a bit confused. Am I not allowed outside?"

He asked with an annoyed expression on his face, and Luthiel, who seemed to be instantly irritated by that answer, looked at him with his eyes narrowed vehemently.

"Curfew by eight pm. No one is permitted outside." He said, and a bit surprised by his calm reply, Damon arched his eyebrows at him.

"Oh... so you're the quiet royal-"

"Head inside, because the next time I come out here, you will face the consequences. Respect the empire's rules."

Without waiting to hear the nonsense that he was going to say as a reply, Luthiel turned around and walked away.

He grabbed Yennefer, who was still standing around and began to pull her back up the stairs to her room.

"Hey hey, take it easy You're hurting my arm." She said to him and, as though having recalled something, he quickly let go of her arm with some unknown anxious glint flashing in his eyes.

He ordered her to go upstairs, and with some deep breaths leaving his mouth, he followed behind her.

They arrived at her room, and Luthiel pushed the door open.

Yennfer walked inside, and he stepped in after her, shutting the door behind them.

He looked at her and, without saying a word, he strolled towards the chair and sat down on it.

He crossed his legs, shut his eyes, and folded his arms.

Yennefer stared at him, completely confused amd her brow arched.

"Are you... spending the night here?" She asked, and totally unbothered by her questions, Luthiel ignored her.

"Hey! I'm talking to you!" She yelled at him, wholly annoyed by his ignorance.

So what if he doesn't like talking? He could at least shake his head or something, or even an okay is fine. But noooo, he would rather ignore the life out of you.

A vexed breath fled her nose and she folded her arms with her back leaned against the bed.

"You are so annoying and rude. Do you know that?"

She asked, and having been drawn by this one, Luthiel opened his eyes and turned his head to look at her.

"Yes, I do." He replied, shocking her as she did not expect a reply from him.

"Yo-you replied." She chuckled softly, and Luthiel raised his eyebrows at her.

He shifted his gaze from her and closed his eyes again.

Yennefer let out a soft sigh before properly laying down on the bed.

"There is something off about those two twins, so you really need to be careful. Goodnight."

She said, and Luthiel looked at her.

"I know you won't reply, so don't worry." She let out a short laugh and shut her eyes, then, with the bed sheet pulled over her, she slowly drifted off to sleep.
