D-did You…Just Say Sorry To Me?

She scoffed, and he shook his head in annoyance before turning to look at Ruel.

"I warned you!" He spoke, and before Ruel could anticipate what would happen next, he arrived before him in the blink of an eye.

With a murderous intent in his gaze, he punched Ruel in the face, sending him staggering backward with his hand holding his bleeding nose.

"You!" Anger filled Ruel's eyes and finally snapped, he rushed towards Luthiel and began to exchange a series of punches with him, causing everyone's eyes to flutter vigorously, unable to even understand what was happening.

Their speed was just too fast for their eyes.

Even William, who was heavily shocked, looked at them with disbelief in his eyes.

He had never seen Luthiel fight like that. No! Why is he even so fast? Humans are not so fast, are they?

He asked himself, feeling that there was something wrong.

His eyes flickered rapidly, and he shifted his gaze to his father, who was completely unbothered, as though he had one hundred percent faith in Luthiel.

A suspicious look formed on his face, and he quickly turned his head when he heard the gasp that escaped from the guests.

His eyes fell on Luthiel, who had his blade at Ruel's neck, ready to kill him at any moment.

Yennefer, who had also killed all the clones, halted and turned to look at Luthiel.

Silence filled the entire hall, and only the sound of the blood dripping from her sword could be heard.

"You're right, I am so weak right now, but... I only have one question to ask you."

"Do you really want to kill me?"

Ruel inquired, and Luthiel stared at him, not saying a word.

His unblinking eyes gazed deeply at him, and in the next moment, as though having made up his mind, he moved his sword, its sharp blade slitting Ruel's throat and causing everyone's eyes to dilate.

"NO!!" Damon yelled, his heart instantly dropping to his stomach.

Ruel's eyes flickered and his body slowly slumped to the ground; however, unlike what everyone had expected, his voice resounded through the entire hall, causing all of them to look around in confusion.

"Did you really think I would let you kill me? You idiot, that's not my body! I'm just the soul. I can leave whenever I want to. So the person you just killed is the girl, not me!"

He announced, and Luthiel, who snapped back to his senses immediately, lowered his head to look at Ayana's body.

"Ayana!" Damon rushed towards her body and pulled her into his arms.

"Aya! Aya, why? W-Why did you do this? I told you not to! I told you-"

He broke down, uncontrollably crying, and Ayana, who was yet to stop breathing, lifted her hand to touch his cheek.

"I was terrified because I didn't want us to suffer." She coughed heavily, spurting out a mouthful of blood.

"Why? I told you that I would protect you, didn't I? I told you to trust me, so why? Why did you do this to me?"

Damon asked in deep pain, and a tear slowly slipped from her eyes.

She gently took his hand in hers and wiped the tears from his eyes.

"I am sorry, big brother. I-I didn't mean to hurt you. I th-thought I could do this. P-Please don't cry."

She shook her head at him, causing even more blood to ooze from her neck.

"Please, please don't suffer anymore." More tears flowed from her eyes.

Her final voice was husky and light to the ears, and with those last words exiting her mouth, she breathed her last. At that moment, Ayana, one of the last accursed sorceresses, died.

"NOOOOOO!!!!" Damon screamed, instantly hit by the pain of losing a twin.

It was an unbearable pain that felt as though half of you had been ripped off.

It hurt him to the depths of his soul.

Yennefer, who felt deep empathy for him, had her heart skip a beat.

Her hands balled into tight fists, and although it was not really her business, she felt the need to sympathize with him.

She slowly walked towards him and reached out her hand to touch him on the shoulder.

"I-I am sorry." She apologized, and Damon, who was completely not in his right mind at that moment, growled under his breath as though trying to control something that was about to erupt within him.

"You killed my only sister. My twin! Hahahahahaha!"

He burst into crazy laughter, and before anyone could predict what would happen next, he burst apart, throwing Yennefer away, resulting in her crashing onto the wall and plummeting heavily to the ground.

A deep groan of pain exited her mouth, and she spurted a mouthful of blood.

She raised her head, and her eyes fell on Damon, who had transformed into a cursed creature that she couldn't even comprehend its nature.

"I will make you pay! All of you! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!"

Damon screamed with his eyes looking down at Luthiel, and in rage, he lifted Ayana, and they disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Luthiel stared into empty space, and the instant Yennefer's painful whine flew into his ears, he quickly turned his head and rushed up to her.

"Are you okay?" He asked, his eyes examining her, and Yennefer slowly nodded her head.

"Yes... but my back really hurts.I think I may have broken a rib."

She grimaced in pain, and without hesitation, Luthiel carried her into his arms and walked out of the hall, leaving Daphne and everyone else to stare at his disappearing back.

"You will be fine." He said to her and led her to her chamber, but when he saw that her room was completely ruined, he frowned.

He let out a soft breath as though contemplating something, and when it seemed like he agreed with whatever he pondered about, he turned around and began to walk in another direction.

"Where are you taking me?" She asked, and he grimaced at her.

"Keep quiet! The more you talk, the more it hurts." He scowled at her, and in a short time, he arrived in front of his chamber.

He pushed the door open and walked inside.

He shut it behind him and strolled towards the bed, then gently proceeded to lay her down on the bed; however, Yennefer's sword, which was hanging on her waist, accidentally cut his hand, and in shock, he recklessly laid her down with a hiss of pain exiting his mouth.

"Ouch!!!!! That hurts!" Yennefer, who couldn't bear the pain she felt near her chest, cried, and Luthiel, who was hovering above her, immediately stood up and stepped away from her.

"Am sorry! Am sorry!" He apologized, and flabbergasted by this, Yennefer went quiet.

"D-did you just…say sorry to me?"
