"Your car is cool. I wish I had one." JR said smiling widely. He felt lucky to must have had a friend who had a cool red sports car.

Jeremy scoffed at JR's actions. JR was busy rubbing his butt all over the seat. "Don't act like it's your first time sitting in my eight months old Sporty." Jeremy said blatantly.

"It isn't?" JR asked in bewilderment. 'This cute boy has got big luck.' He thought.

"Get off." Jeremy suddenly said, bringing the car to a sudden stop.

JR was confused as well as saddened. Why should he get down all of a sudden after a few driven miles?

"Why?"

"Because we are at your home!" Jeremy yelled. He really didn't understand why JR was behaving like a clueless dummy.

JR looked around the area through the car windows and back at Jeremy in shock. 'This place?' JR thought.

"What?!" Jeremy asked angrily or should I say, faking his anger.

"It can't be." JR looked around again and sighed angrily. "This is the typical example of what people refer to as 'the streets'! We are clearly on the road and you say...." JR was not done complaining when someone suddenly banged heavily Jeremy's part of the car windows.

"Hoy, anak mayaman! (Hey, rich boy!) Kasama mo ba si JR? Nakita mo na ba siya? (Is JR there with you? Have you seen him?)." A crazy woman yelled, hitting Jeremy's car at once.

"Who is that woman? Do you know her?" JR asked. He was scared that the woman would hurt both of them. After all this is 'the Streets'. In her life as Jade, she has never gone anywhere crowded talk more of the streets.

"That woman is your mother." Jeremy answered calmly, dropping a bomb in JR's mind which blew at what Jeremy said. Jeremy opened the door of his side of the car and came out. "Come on out!" He yelled at JR who was damn shocked and scared.

"So kasama mo siya? (So he is in there with you?)." The woman asked angrily, throwing her hands all over.

"Ma__" Jeremy was about talking when the super crazy woman went to the other side of the car where JR sat and opened the door forcefully.

"Ang sarap mong bigyan ako ng atake sa puso no? (You enjoy giving me a heart attack right?)!" The woman yelled, pulling the hand of JR. "Ang batang ito! Gusto mo lang akong patayin diba?! (This boy!You just want to kill me right?)!" The woman added. She saw she couldn't drag JR out by his hand so, she aimed for his leg.

"Jeremy! Get this crazy woman off me!" JR yelled angrily. His body was in pains already due to the accident and this woman is worsening it all.

Jeremy sighed frustratedly watching the mother and son duo. Though JR has never reacted this way to his mother before, it was just so shocking how JR wasn't begging his mother for forgiveness right now. 'What a crazy mother! Ah, I envy his family.' Jeremy thought before moving over to the duo.

"Ma, hindi maganda ang pakiramdam ni JR. (Ma, JR is not feeling well)!" Jeremy said trying to hold the woman off JR.

"Alam ko ang pakulo mo rich boy. Iyon ang palusot niya sa lahat ng oras! (I know your trick rich boy. That's his excuse all the time)!" The woman said, pointing sharp fingers at JR's face.

At that moment, Jeremy was scared she would poke JR's eyes. "Ma, kalalabas lang niya sa ospital. (Ma, he was just discharged from the hospital.)" Jeremy said and that was all it took to take the woman of JR.

"ospital?!" The woman screamed in shock, looking dangerously at Jeremy who nodded quietly. The woman moved towards JR and this time was soft on him. "Okay ka lang ba, anak ko? (Are you okay, my boy?)" She asked awaiting JR's response.

"Jeez! I don't even understand you, this woman!" JR yelled, squeezing her face into an angry look. "First, you are all over me acting all crazy and next, you are sweet!" JR added, getting down from the car and giving the woman a gap.

"Come on, JR__" Jeremy tried to talk but, JR thought he has got this.

"No, Jeremy let me do the talking." JR placed his hand upwards and then turned to the crazy woman. "You keep talking shit I don't understand! Who the hell do you think you are to touch me?! Drag my feet, my han____"

"You do know that she is your mother and she doesn't understand English right?" Jeremy asked sarcastically, folding his arms while leaning on his car.

"What?! What year is this? Who doesn't speak English in America?!" JR yelled angrily garnering attention from the street people.

Jeremy couldn't help but face slap himself.

"Wakey wakey, Junior. This is Philippines." Jeremy mocked, chuckling.

At this, Jade in JR realized that indeed she was in Philippines. 'So this book is a Filipino setting? Stupid!' Jade in JR thought, scoffing mentally.

"Ano bang nangyayari sa anak ko? (What is happening to my boy?)" The silent woman finally broke the silence, asking Jeremy who sighed.

"Tawagan mo si Mae o si Ara, sasabihin ko sayo. (Please call Mae or Ara, I would tell you)." Jeremy said to the woman who nodded and started walking away.

"What did you say to shoo her away?" JR asked curiously as he watched the woman leave.

Jade in JR watched her went to the left part of the street, in between a fruit store and a vehicle garage store. He could see a small neighborhood in between. It look squeezed.

She came back again but this time, she came with two little girls. 'Awwnn, they look cute.' JR thought.

"JR!!!" The less cute one with sleek black hair squealed happily, jumping on JR who didn't expect the sudden contact.

"Argghhh!" JR groaned hurtfully. Pain!!!

"Kung hindi ito ang aming malaking sanggol. (If it isn't the our big baby)." The other and cuter girl with red short hair said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

JR definitely sensed the mocking tone in the girl's words. "Another gibberish speaking person." JR said audibly and the red haired girl frowned. "Did she understand what i just said?" JR asked Jeremy after nudging him.

"Of course, you psycho!" The little red haired girl yelled angrily.

"Oh! So she not just understand but speaks English too." Jade in JR marveled, nodding his head.

"Mother, Ara, Senior Jeremy, you guys better hold down this big baby boy of ours before I do something crazy." The little red hair warned angrily. "Infact, what am I doing here?" She said and walked away, going back to where she was brought from.

"Ngayon, wala na si Mae. (Now, Mae is gone)." The woman sighed.

"It's all your fault, JR baby." The long black haired little girl said pouting at JR.

JR looked at Jeremy and got a disapproving look as well. "What did I do?" JR asked innocently.

"Ara, help me tell your mother that JR got hit by a car and needs to rest." Jeremy said to the little girl.

"What?! Are you okay, JR baby?" Ara asked sincerely concerned.

"Would you stop calling me a baby? I'm older than you, you know." JR scolded. He was so thankful that there are still people who knew English.

"Sorry." Ara pouted sadly and JR regretted scolding her.

"Jeremy, who are these people? Where am I?" JR whispered to Jeremy. JR was almost in tears. This was so frustrating.

"Ara and the other one, Mae are both your younger sisters and they are twins." Jeremy answered rolling his eyes. To him, JR was just being a sad dummy.

"What?!"

"JR, tomorrow we can continue this game okay? I'm leaving." Jeremy said, walking over to the other side of the car.

"No, no. You can't leave me here!" JR yelled, trailing Jeremy who ignored him.

Jeremy got into the car and drove off leaving JR who was now in tears, to his sisters and crazy mother.

"Ara, anong sabi ni rich boy at bakit umiiyak ang kapatid mo? (Ara, what did rich boy say and why is your)?"
