The Big Move In!

"Wah! So heavy!" calls out Derek as he is helping me with one of my boxes.

"Are you sure you can handle it? I can carry it up there you know" I ask struggling a little with my own box.

"no! I am a boy, I can handle this much!" he says with such determination, that I feel my heart warm up a little.

"just because you are a boy, doesn't mean it is easy you know. You don't need to push yourself" I try one more time to change his heart maybe.

"no no no! I want to help out too! It's actually not THAT heavy!" he says giving me a confident smile.

"alright if you say so!" I say chuckling a little, and I continue to follow Richard in the hallway.

I thought that the house was huge on the outside, but what was in-store for me on the inside, was a much bigger house that I imagined. Right when I entered the house/mansion/hotel, there was a huge hallway waiting for us, with two separate entrances. The first entrance included at least 14 mailboxes, with names on assigned to each person of the house (including me). Right after, when we enter the second entrance, there is a huge hallway leading to a small sitting area, along with shoe and coat racks hanging around. At the end of the hallway, there is even an elevator, leading to the rest of the building.

The building itself has 4 floors, the bottom floor, where the living room, kitchen, backyard, a guest-room, and a balcony are all located. The second floor, where there is a huge bathroom and shower space fit for 4 people at a time, as well as five bedroom areas. The third floor with a gym in the center, 5 more bedrooms and an equally large bathroom. Finally, the fourth floor with an indoor movie theatre, as well we 4 more bedrooms.

Currently my bedroom is located on the second floor, as most of the other bedrooms are already occupied. The bedroom assigned to me, actually is pretty comfortable, with a built-in bathroom—apparently the only room with that feature. I think I am glad for that, considering there are thirteen men in this house. It would be awkward for me to share a shower with so many men. There is also a bed, and a window leading to the balcony in my room, which I thought was pretty cool. Looking outside, I could see all the other bedrooms and their balconies as well, showing how the entire building is actually built in a U shape almost.

"ah... there that is the last box!" says Richard placing the last box in my room. "How are you liking your room Sana?"

"Thank you, Richard! I think this is a very nice house. The room is very comfortable too." I say smiling.

"I am glad to hear that. But you don't need to hide. Personally, I think this "house" looks more like a hotel than anything else" he says standing in the balcony next to me, and laughing a little.

"haha, yeah. I did feel like that at first. But I suppose it makes sense considering how many people are living here" I say matter-of-factly.

"true true... talking about them, I actually informed everyone of your arrival today, but I don't know who all are here today..." says Richard holding his chin, his eyebrows furrowed together.

Suddenly my stomach growls quite loudly without any notice, embarrassing me a little.

"looks like someone's hungry haha" says Richard, making me blush even more.

"not that much..." I lie, trying to cover up a little.

"It's ok haha. It's my fault too. Here, I was all excited for the move-in and I totally forgot my basic manners to ask you for food." He says smiling guiltily.

"oh! Oh no! please don't think that way. You have been helping me with all the boxes and everything, its not a big deal"

"hmm...well then, shall we?" he gestures towards the door, and we both exit out of my room together.
