Chapter 2, the hunt returns

At the start of the fight he appeared behind me, i just did a roundhouse kick in his face and he was already knocked out.

I left the proving room as i left knowing i passed, then i saw some news on the television.

"this just in, the blue gate alliance has cleared the infamous level 300 dungeon, known for its high difficulty killed over 20,000 dungeon hunters."

"and we're talking to guild master gate right now, tell us! What rewards have you earned from clearing the dungeon?"

That guild master gate... She's holding a handful of the blue crystals... She said "we found these similar looking gems when we cleared a level 240 dungeon, we have no idea what use it was, so we are gonna use it now."

Then she broke the crystals all at once, blue light started escaping through her hand and then entered through her chest.

The reporter asked "how do you feel?" she replied "amazing, it seems that these crystals... Are actually powerful power-up stones!"

She smiled and chuckled, i walked away and thought "this might be a problem... She turned hungry for power... It seems the evil in me also got split into a million pieces..."

A woman walked up to me and asked "are sir... James Albert jr.?" i nodded in reply. She smiled and said "I'm here to brief you about the system."

She said "the system has multiple functions they are, stat window, where you can distribute your stats, and look at your abilities . The shop where you can buy weaponry, food, and armor from points given by killing monsters."

She continued "there's also the inventory where you can store your items, things inside the inventory won't rot, the gear inside will even be repaired."

"then there's the quest window where you can earn quests from random events, and finally there's the contacts where you can contact hunters as long as you know their information and can even send a distress message to nearby hunters within 5 kms."

She then said "and that's all, any questions?" i shook my head in reply. And she left, once she left i looked at my system and there is no difference...

It's still the same! I only have the stat window and skill window! Your telling me i was alone in a world and all i got is this, and everyone here who sleeps in mattresses got systems with more functions!

God this is annoying... I left the building and took a deep breath, at least there's not much beggars around anymore...

Thankfully all dungeon towers look the same, the nearest one is 500 meters away from here, being monitored by the dungeon hunter branch.

When i was near it, there were guards around it, patrolling it, and there is a sign... A level 50 dungeon... In the other world i used to do this dungeon when i was level 100...

So let's try beating it... At level... 1
