Xiao Mei finally let Xia Qingyi go and wiped her eyes, which were red from crying, and said chokingly, "So you're hungry, Sister Nian Nian."

Xia Qingyi moved back a few steps and silently went to stand next to Mo Han. Han Liang noticed her actions, and quietly walked forward to pull Xia Qingyi's hand, interlacing his hand with hers, and said to Xiao Mei, "Follow the rules like last time and send the food to the east wing."

Shocked to see that he had interlaced his hand with hers, Xia Qingyi wanted to shake his hand off, but Han Liang tightened his hold. Standing opposite them, Xiao Mei noticed their movements as well and stared at the two of them, slight suspicion on her face.

"Why are you still standing here? Are you not going to inform the kitchen?" Han Liang did not let go, and looked at Xiao Mei as he spoke.
