The tension in the arena was evident to all, as all the Gods glared and cursed at Buddha for his act of betrayal. However, Buddha's glare shut most of them up.

Zeus entered the arena, shocking everyone present. His mere presence just proved how truly serious the situation was.

"Do you truly intend to betray the Gods? This is your final chance," Zeus stated with a serious tone.

"Old Man, I have already decided. If the gods won't save them...I will. And if any God gets in my way...I'll kill them," Buddha declared, his voice firm and resolute, as his eyes bore into Zeus's.

Upon hearing Buddha's fearless threat, the Supreme Gods from all the pantheons bristled with anger, and a surge of bloodlust swept through the arena from everywhere. If the previous declaration hadn't already angered the Gods this definitely did.

"Heh, Don't blame me for being ruthless. I gave you a choice," Zeus replied with a sneer.

Buddha's glare intensified, and he interrupted Zeus, "Enough with the small talk, Old man. Who will be my opponent? Will it be you? I wouldn't mind facing even the great Zeus."

"Luckily for you, you won't be facing me, but someone else," Zeus said with a smile, hinting at a surprise.

An overwhelming pressure filled the air, rendering everyone silent. It felt as if some impending doom was surfacing, making everyone wait expectantly.

An odd yet familiar presence washed over the tournament grounds, a presence like no other recognized by both gods and humans alike.

The sound of heavy footsteps reverberated through the air, drawing all eyes to a tall and muscular figure that emerged from the side of the gods.

This figure was known to everyone this was none other than the infamous God, Poseidon, The God of Gods.

Fear and amazement spread like wildfire throughout the entire arena. Poseidon commanded both respect and fear, and his reputation had reached far and wide. His victory over the Human(Sasaki Kojiro) in Round 3 had only further amplified his formidable reputation.

As the revelation sank in, a question lingered in everyone's minds: Was it even allowed for a god to participate twice? However, no one dared to voice their doubts aloud.

As Zeus left the stadium, he patted Poseidon's shoulder and said, "I leave the rest to you."

Poseidon remained silent, looking at Zeus for a moment and then nodding slightly. The audience now understood that Poseidon would be the God to fight in the 5th round.

Heimdall being quick on the uptake announced the fight has commenced

At the God's Side

"I never expected Poseidon Chan to fight. Did you, Uncle?" Loki asked Odin in surprise.

Odin was silenced as even he was shocked by the predicament

"Damm, would you look at that? I have never seen Poseidon be this active," remarked Shiva from his chamber.

Thor smiled, pleased with the current outcome, from his chamber.

"Lord Poseidon is fighting?" said Ares, with a surprised face

"Yes, that's what they said," replied Hermes with his typical smile.

"I know. I heard it the first time. It was a rhetorical question. Did you know of this beforehand too?" asked Ares curiously.

"No, I genuinely had no idea about this. Lord Zeus hadn't informed me," said Hermes sincerely.

At the Valkyrie's Side

"This is seriously bad news, sister. Did you hear what they said? Lord Poseidon is fighting," said Goll, panicking.

"I know. I heard it," replied Brunhilde, nervously biting her nails.

"I wasn't expecting this. I thought they would have sent the 7(8) lucky gods," thought Brunhilde inwardly, sweat forming on her brow.

At the battlefield

Poseidon gazed at the ground, seemingly uninterested in Buddha. He didn't even bother to look at Buddha's face, considering him unworthy of his attention.

"So, I'm not even worthy for you to look at?", said Buddha, disappointment apparent in his expression.

Without uttering a word, Poseidon suddenly disappeared and appeared behind Buddha.
