Dream's POV

One Saturday Morning...

"Ugh..The hell..?" I get up and rub my head. It's 8:42 A.M, and the sun is shining brightly. I sigh as I realize what today is. Today was my birthday. Yesterday, everyone came over to party. Friday was the only day they could make it, so they decided to treat is as my birthday. If only it really was.

I do my daily bathroom routine and head downstairs to the kitchen. As I walk down the stairs, I smell something cooking. Pancakes. I run down the stairs, excited, and trip over something. I start to pick myself up, but notice something else. I didn't trip over something, but rather someone. I look down below me to see George, my roommate. Me and George moved in a couple months ago, and its been great. We get to see each other basically everyday now. I really enjoy George's company, more than I have before. I don't know why, but I shrug it off most of the time.

I slowly wave to George, who's now currently a blushing mess, and start laughing. He pushes me off and speed walks to the kitchen, where the smell of pancakes becomes stronger. I lean over his shoulder and hug him. He blushes, but continues to tend to the pancakes.

"Goooood moooorninggggg Geoooooorge," I say, trying not to laugh. He looks over at me and smiles.

"Morning Dream, happy birthday," he mumbles. George had a slumped posture, meaning he didn't sleep very well. He had this sort of problem not too long ago, but he never told me what had happened. I had always assumed it to be a nightmare kind of problem, so I never asked questions about it.

I let go of George and head over to the couch. Before I could turn on the tv, George looks at me and gestures for me to come back over. I groan and roll my eyes, getting back up again to head George's way. I open my mouth to say something, but something gets shoved to into my mouth.

"Nuh-uh," George says, stopping my train of thought. "Eat. You usually say something stupid, but not today, mister." He smiles triumphantly as I slowly chew the pancake in my mouth. I smile back to him, and lean closer. He looks at me and blushes madly. Ever since we moved in together, I've just been having these weird feelings. Everyone says "Oh Dream! You like him!" but it can't be that. I mean, if I was in love, I would probably have already kissed him, being the guy I am. But something's holding me back. I haven't been feeling myself lately, I've been getting these thoughts and throwing up. Don't know what it is, but I just assume it's a cold or something and move on.

"So what now," I say, mouthful of food, "you're gonna feed me? I wouldn't mind that~." He gives me a saddening smile as a joke and looks away. I frown as he does this, but immediately smile again when he turns around with another pancake in hand. I open my mouth as he puts the pancake in my mouth. I grin widely at him, making him blush harder.

"S-shut up and eat, stupid." He mumbled something under his breath after that, but I couldn't hear it. I give him another hug and walk back to the couch. I pat the seat next to me while looking at George patiently. He rolls his eyes and comes to sit next to me. He brings over the large stack of pancakes as I scroll through the channels, looking for something for us to watch.

While George stares intently at the screen, I check my phone to see notifications from one of my friends, Sap. All three of us have been friends for as long as I can remember, and we all plan to stay like that. Sap knows about the feelings I've been having lately, and has frankly been the only one who doesn't suspect it to be love. He's actually been trying to help me lately, but so far we haven't had any luck. When I check the text however, I see he's found something quite interesting about it. But not in a good way.
