2 Introduction: Maria

(Maria del Reyes, The protagonist of this story.

Lives in North of the Philippines. A young women who tried so hard to know the identity of the secret brave warrior because she wishes to be like her, brave and fearless.)

My family just finished having dinner as I asked something to my mother.

"Inay! Do you know anything about Lihim?"

"Anak, you don't have to know anything about her, she is still unknown for everyone here."

"But, I wanted to be like her!" I said.

My father approaches me.

"It's too dangerous for you to be like her. You should be something that fits for a women like you. She's so brave and fearless and you-"

He stopped so sudden as I shouted at him and said..

"I can be brave and fearless like her! I will do my best to achieve that!"

"Don't talk to me like that! I am just warning you!"

Inay came to me and said..

"You should sleep now. I believe that you will be like her in the future. Magandang gabi, anak."

She kisses my forehead as she guides me into our room with my brother.

"Magandang gabi, mga anak ko"

Her last greet to us before she leaves the room as we proceed to sleep.
