Chapter 9: Distributing Attribute Points

(Author's Note: This is a revised version of this chapter. For clarity I will change how the system works in much simpler sense. But the story will be the same. Sorry for inconvenience.)

Today, Avin resolved to take the Solar Soul Grass Pill. It marked a turning point in his life, promising to alleviate many of his struggles, although he acknowledged the need for further improvement, particularly in his martial arts journey. "Now, show me my future!" he declared, ingesting the pill with determination.

Instantly, the pill began to take effect. Avin assumed a calm demeanor as he meditated, feeling the Solar Soul Grass Pill's effect coursing through his veins. The transformation in his bloodstream was visible as the demonic qi obstructing his Dantian and Spiritual roots began to dissolve. Beads of sweat formed on his brow, accompanied by the expulsion of a noxious, murky liquid.

The high-grade nature of the Solar Soul Grass Pill prompted a profound change in Avin's physique. With newfound freedom, the qi flowed unimpeded into his Dantian, while his Spiritual roots grew denser, purifying his essence. This process continued until the effects of the pill gradually waned, culminating in three days of intensive healing.

announced the system. Subsequently, another message appeared:

Avin opened his eyes, sensing the subtle yet profound changes in his body. An unfamiliar surge of energy coursed through him, leaving him feeling remarkably invigorated. "So, this is how the Dantian really works? Incredible!" he marveled, reveling in the newfound vitality.

Meanwhile, Henrich took stock of his current status. He discovered that he had acquired a new title, granting him the ability to craft pills or food with unparalleled efficiency and flavor. Additionally, he had gained a new skill enhancing his sensory perception. With this newfound knowledge, Henrich allocated his attribute points, focusing on bolstering his Intelligence and Dexterity:

Just few days ago, he had been preparing for a comeback in the world of entertainment, but now he found himself embroiled in a struggle for survival in an unfamiliar world. Nevertheless, with Avin's guidance and the assistance of the system, he quickly adapted to his new circumstances, learning the necessary skills to thrive in the Martial World and advance the goals of the Idol System Project.

Now, Avin turned his attention to carefully distributing the attribute points he had amassed from the missions he had recently completed. With a total of 30 unused Attribute Points (AP) at his disposal, he had ample opportunity to further enhance his abilities.

However, he also acknowledged the importance of Constitution for overall durability and resilience in battle. By increasing Constitution, he can withstand more damage and endure prolonged fights.

While not as critical for a Swordmaster, Intelligence still plays a role in understanding combat techniques and tactics. Allocating a few points to Intelligence is enough to maintain a balanced skill set.

Examining his Qi Absorption tab, he noted the significant changes in his body's ability to store qi since taking the solar soul grass pill. The integration of qi into his Dantian and spiritual roots had brought about evident improvements.

"After considering all factors, this seems like the best approach," Avin concluded. He allocated 10 points to Dexterity, aiming to enhance his precision and critical hit rate in combat. With increased Dexterity, Avin could deliver more accurate and devastating strikes, improving his overall offensive capabilities.

Next, he assigned 8 points to Strength, bolstering his physical attack power and enabling him to deal more significant damage to his opponents. By focusing on Strength, Avin aimed to overpower his adversaries with sheer force and martial prowess.

Avin then distributed 5 points each to Evasion and Constitution. With heightened Evasion, he could evade enemy attacks more effectively, minimizing the damage he sustained in combat. Additionally, increasing his Constitution would enhance Avin's durability and stamina, allowing him to withstand prolonged battles without succumbing to fatigue.

With the remaining points, Avin allocated 2 points to Intelligence and he decided to keep Fortune points by 1.03. While Intelligence would aid him in understanding combat techniques and adapting his strategies accordingly, Fortune would provide him with a slight edge in unpredictable situations, increasing his chances of favorable outcomes.

With this balanced allocation, Avin felt confident in his ability to excel in combat, utilizing his enhanced stats to overcome any challenges that lay ahead.

Avin carefully examined the stats of his sword.

These attributes would undoubtedly prove invaluable in his journey through the Martial World. From being considered a loser in this world to now possessing items of such significance, Avin felt a newfound sense of resilience and hope stirring within him.
