8 Chapter 8: What Just Happen?

While walking back to the Wei Clans residence Wei Wushian decided to open the system's shop function. A holographic screen was displayed in front of him.

On this screen, there was a list of many different categories. There was a category for cultivation, martial arts, magic, esper, technology, and even mythology. Inside each category were their sections.

For example inside the category of Cultivation, there was a section for techniques, pills, weapons, and even clothing. Wei Wushian clicked on techniques and saw various skills ranging from mortal to god. Right now he only had access to Mortal Techniques.

I have to find a suitable technique. Although he was currently cultivating {Heavenly God's Scrolls} and had his own martial art's. He was sure that would not be enough. He was in a world of immortals. Here man can lift mountains and split seas with a flick of there fingers. Even at his peak, he would not be able to lift a mountain.

"Since I have a system I might as well use it" Wei Wushian continued to scroll through the list.

Elementalist Act One: allows one to bend the four basic elements. Rank: Mortal Level 9 High Tier. Price: 200 SP.

Fist of the Mortal Flame: covers your fist in the Mortal Flames and sends out a punch. Rank: Mortal Level 4 High Tier. Price: 70 SP.

Void Steps: a movement technique that allows you to cover a great distance with the least amount of steps. Rank: Mortal Level 9 High Tier. Price: 200 SP.

Nine Shadow Lone Blades: A series of nine sword moves that get stronger executed together. Rank: Mortal Level 8 High Tier. Price: 150 SP.

Heaven's Sword Art: a sword technique with zero flaws. Gives you the ability to produce sword intent upon mastery. Rank: Mortal Level 9 Top Quality. Price: 300 SP.

Heaven's Dagger Art: a dagger technique with zero flaws. Gives you the ability to produce dagger intent upon mastery. Rank Mortal Level 9 Top Quality. Price: 300 SP.

After looking over various techniques Wei Wushian ultimately decided on getting Elementalist Act One, Void Steps, Heaven's Sword Art, and Heaven's Dagger Art. Bringing his system point's down to 1,000.

The techniques were instantly imprinted into his mind giving him a slight headache. After the process was completed. Wei Wushian could not wait to practice. These techniques were amazing. With only practicing for a bit. He felt like he would master them in no time.

Before long he and Fatty Long arrived back in town. Walking through the market area. He contemplated selling the core and bodies of the beast he had slain. Then he realized he could sell it to the system instead.

"Brother Long, how long do you plan on staying this time?"

"I've completed my mission far earlier than intended. I'll stay for one more week to watch you dominate the youth competition" Qin Long said with a grin on his face.

"That's good. I'll make sure to give you a good show"

"Haha, I'm counting on it brother"

Wei Wushian continued walking through the market in a joyous mode looking for anything that catches the eye. Ultimately he found nothing and decided on heading back to his courtyard to practice. That's when he heard a voice from behind.

"If it isn't the trash of the Wei Clan and the fatty. Tell me did you enjoy the beating I gave you last time?"

Turning around Wei Wushian saw Jing Jun Min and his followers who gave the old Wei Wushian a beating. Seeing them anger raised in his heart.

Touching his chest Wei Wushian thought " It seems the soul of the old him had not completely disappeared as of yet"

"Keep calm. I'll settle your grievances soon" only after saying that in his mind did the anger calm down.

Qin Long was about to rush forward in anger only for Wei Wushian to stop him with a raise of his hand.

"Jing Jun Min. Tell me how are your teeth doing? Have they grown back yet? Come smile for me. I want to see if your still as ugly as before are even uglier now with no teeth"

Hearing this Qin Long burst out into laughter. Gathering the attention of those in the surrounding.

"You! Don't think I won't beat you again" Jing Jun Min shouted out in anger.

" Beat me? I'll like to see you try" saying that he started walking towards them.

Although he did not want to show his skills as of yet. He could scare them a little. Wei Wushian let out his killing intent towards them alone to not let anyone else sense it.

Suddenly in Jing Jun Min and his follower's eye's the sky turned red and immense pressure bore down on them. Forcing them to fall on their butts. Wei Wushian's figure seemed as big as a mountain standing in front of them. He no longer seemed human but a demon.

Jing Jun Min and his followers peed their pants and passed out immediately.

"Che, just a bit of killing intent and you pass out this easily? Weaklings"

Turning back around he walked away with Qin Long. Leaving the crowd confused.

What just happened? We expected a show but was only given confusion.
