From what he saw from the clones' visions, the lack of dimensional beast corpses nearby made the traces of battle seem too suspicious for Aldrin.
To make sure that it wasn't a trap since there could be a creature like the Sapphial that couldn't be easily detected by the IDLE Database or maybe the middle-aged man himself, Aldrin's vigilance was at its highest resulting in the tension in the air to rise.
"For sure, something happened here. Just that, the result was too vague. No way to really know unless we push ahead."
As he went forward for a few meters ahead, Aldrin found out that this area beyond the swamp and further near the active volcano at the center was devoid of any dimensional beasts.
It's like they disappeared somewhere.
