Returning to the Base Camp (1)
A distance away from the terrifying horde, a group of Metadome was carefully moving away from the chasing rift monsters. Each Metadome was at least a grade higher than the Standard Metadomes given by the trainees.
However, with their chasers as terrifying as a late-Stage 2 Energy Refiner, most of their Metadomes were damaged enough to affect their performance. Their lack of sleep and rest also didn't help as little by little, the distance between them and their chasers gradually disappeared.
"Nelson! What are we going to do?! They're about to catch up to us!" One of them shouted over their open communication channel.
He's the one at the back of their group and was already turning white from fright. If nothing was done, he's the first one who's going to be torn apart by the berserk rift monsters.
