Gu chen was alarmed, he might very well be in a fantasy world and most likely a forest was a really dangerous place.

"Who.. who's there!" As he was just nothing but a normal college student he never experience anything dangerous and he also was a scaredy-cat who will cower in fear when a bug reached him.

As the rustling sound goes louder, Gu chens feet and hands were shaking violently like it was a tree on a windy day.

But what's greet him made Gu chen breathe a sigh of relief, There wasn't any scary or powerful beast, it was nothing but a white hen.

"You... How dare you scare me, I almost got a heart attack!" Gu chen was pissed off, if what was on the bush didn't go out he would probably run away.

If what was on the bush go out and decides to attack him then he would shove the stick on it and runs away, luckily what came out was nothing but a hen.

"Take this!" Gu chen released his emotion to the unfortunate hen, he hit it with the stick on his hand.

Confusingly the hen didn't immediately run away but instead, it stared at Gu chen, probably thinking of revenge or something.

After releasing his emotion and finally calming down he wanted to know what was the function of his golden finger, the translucent panel.

As he was a former novel binger, he had already read a novel about this translucent panel, it is a system that could help him become the strongest in this new world.

The panel looks a bit like a game, first, there was a man sitting with his eyes closed, his feet were cross, and he was occupying Half of the panel.

there was also a profile picture, with a picture of him.

Surprisingly, the photo was the most dashing photo of his that was taken by him years ago.

The profile picture was at the top right side of the panel, it was occupying 1/16th of the panel.

below it was an icon of a small house which is probably the shop, a place where he could buy things, it was only occupying 1/32nd of the panel.

below the shop was a horn with confetti on it, if his assumptions were right it was the event tab where he could claim rewards such as Leveling rewards, Achievements, Daily login, etc.

below the event tab was a furnace of the past, it was probably a magic furnace where he could craft magical items, or maybe potions or something.

The profile picture, the shop, the event tab, and the furnace was the only thing he could access, the others were gray in color and had a small lock icon on its side indicating that it was inaccessible and he needed to do something to access it.

He first clicked his profile picture, on most rpg games the profile picture was a shortcut to the status screen where he could look at his attributes.

But with the word 'Qi' then he must be at a wuxia or maybe a xianxia world.

He clicked the event tab as to why he did it, it was because he wanted to obtain rewards, if he was lucky it might give him a cheat.
