The Sun

After an unknown amount of time, the light shone through the forest, the sun showed itself after a long time of darkness. The forest began to animate itself as different types of creatures began to wake from their long slumber.

Hunting became my main source of activities, nothing much has happened since my arrival here I hunted, played games, and trained. The only thing noteworthy this past week was that I had found out why there were bodies all over the flower zone, the mist the flowers were producing was some sort of drug which made any life form sleep in a coma-like state which the victim wouldn't get out of, and die of hunger or thirst, it was its method of hunting as the bodies would decompose at a frightening speed and feed the said flowers.

I had observed their methods of hunting for weeks and took the opportunity to take one flower, and do tests with it to know if it produces the drug even if I took it out of the ground, and sadly it wasn't working.

Today was a lazy day as I call them, I don't do anything, sleeping around or playing with my phone all day, and enjoying myself, I couldn't just train endlessly each day so I made lazy days where I can relax and chill by myself, it is presently midnight as I referred to the clock on my precious treasure, it was time to sleep, I climbed a tree as I lay down on one thick branch closing my eyes as I drove to sleep.

Light, the only thing that was in my view as I woke from my short sleep, I was blinded seeing only white for few minutes as I realized the sun was up.

YES PRAISE THE SUN!!

Ecstasy went through me as I celebrated, all this time in darkness made me feel grumpy, lonely, and quite angry the only good it did was that after a certain amount of time I could see farther in the night, it also upgraded my awareness to level 3.

The past couple of weeks were relax nothing had happened, no encounters of supermassive beast like the fat deer he saw at the beginning of his journey. The only time he was attacked or hunted was in the day, he speculated that such predators would show only in the day, which was weird but he quickly had gone over it.

When the sun shone through the forest chaos finally began, monsters of different sizes came out of their den and began attacking each other as if it were a free for all tournament.

Aiden observed this event happen, he confirmed that predators only show in the daytime. Now he had to be prepared, he would only be a prey in this kind of environment.

Aiden also saw some of them getting into trees, the tree wasn't a safe place anymore, and he had to find a new haven for himself.

He was sure that if he tried to go and fight them it wouldn't even be a combat but survival instead.

Short chapter for today, I'll probably make a poll tomorrow, because I will need to choose which monster the mc is going to be, and I got no ideas.
