Chapter 165: Tomorrow

Jun Liu waited until NaNa stopped crying before he brought her outside the hospital.

NaNa was still in his embrace, but she had calmed down from crying. Jun Liu could see from Wu Chen's face that Wu Chen was dying to know what happened to him but of course Jun Liu couldn't say anything with NaNa beside him.

Jun Liu was afraid that NaNa might start crying again if he mentioned things that happened to him.

Jun Liu was not severely injured so he could go back to his house for the day. Wu Chen was driving with Jun Liu and NaNa at the backseat. When they reached the apartment complex, NaNa refused to part away from Jun Liu, so Jun Liu had to take her to his home with Wu Chen tailing behind them.

NaNa was probably exhausted because she didn't eat much of her lunch and because she was crying for a long time in the hospital. NaNa kept on rubbing her eyes, so Jun Liu asked her to take a nap in his room. NaNa obliged without saying much.

The two men looked at NaNa's disappearing back quietly. When they were sure that NaNa was asleep inside the room, Wu Chen started asking questions.

"What happened?"

When Wu Chen received a call from Jun Liu, Jun Liu only asked to pick him up from the hospital, but Liu Shi told him that there were some commotions in the construction site and some people got pretty violent, and some workers were injured because of the demonstration.

"Someone might instigate the protestors. Mine is a different thing. The attack against me is for a personal reason. You know NaNa's ex-fiancé right? I think he has something to do with my attack."

Jun Liu and Wu Chen talked more about the issue at the construction site, and Jun Liu briefed him everything that he needed to know.

"It was a man in his forty. He hit me with a baseball bat. I got hit on my head the first time but the hat was protecting my head, so I'm fine. Then, he hit my shoulder and aimed for my stomach next, but I blocked him with my limb. That man was pretty strong. He might practice some martial arts to have that powerful swing. I managed to kick him down and set him to the police. But man… some bones in my limb were fractured."

Jun Liu tried to remove the arm sling, but it was too painful for him. Wu Chen had a serious face all these time. He thought that they should solve the issue now that it escalates to violence.

"Chen Chen, you're back" Yi Fei came in a wheelchair pushed by John. "Oh my… What's wrong with your hand, Ah Jun? Are you okay?"

Both of the men looked towards the direction of the newcomers. Jun Liu threw a tired look at Wu Chen; he didn't want to narrate the whole things again. He was tired.

Wu Chen stood up and went towards Yi Fei's direction. He took over the wheelchair from John and pushed Yi Fei out of the house quietly. The troublesome duo was confused, but they didn't ask what happened because they knew that Wu Chen would tell them if they need to know about it.

When NaNa opened her eyes, she was alone in the dark room. She was still confused about why she was inside Jun Liu's room at this time. Then she remembered what happened. Her heart broke, and she didn't feel like waking up from the bed. She was lying around when she heard a singing voice from outside the room.

"If tomorrow never comes…"

"Will she know how much I loved her…"

"Did I try in every way to show her every day."

"That she's my only one…"

John was singing 'in a somber voice. NaNa thought that John might be drunk. Her assumption was confirmed when she heard Yi Fei's voice. "Go to sleep John. You are drunk" And right after that, the singing voice stopped, and John couldn't be heard anymore.

For the first time nth time in her life, NaNa was trying to question herself why would she become friend with both Yi Fei and John since both of them were equally weird. But her mind was distracted by the song sung by John.

If tomorrow never comes for her, will Jun Liu know how much she loves him?

Having such thought put NaNa in a sad mood once again, and she started tearing up for no reason. She shouldn't be this emotional when she was not even on period.

While NaNa was crying silently, the door opened to reveal a tired face of Jun Liu. When Jun Liu heard the soft sobbing sound, he turned on the light quickly and went to NaNa's side.

"Are you okay? Why are you crying? Bad dream?" No matter how much Jun Liu spent his time with women, he thought that he could never fully understand them. Women cried over every single thing. Jun Liu was already tired of trying to cope with John's antic.

After Wu Chen left him alone after they got back from the hospital, Jun Liu got a little bit of sleep before he heard John's voice. John was looking at Jun Liu in a sorrowful face. He didn't know what Wu Chen told John and Yi Fei, but it must be something sad since John was entirely down.

John asked if he could drink and Jun Liu let him. After a while, Yi Fei and Wu Chen came to his house. Seeing Yi Fei and Wu Chen, John drank even more beers and got drunk. John had been singing like five songs before Yi Fei finally asked him to go to sleep.

Jun Liu got a headache from all the singing, so he wanted to rest, but when he came into his room, he saw that his girlfriend was crying. He couldn't live peacefully among the idiots.

"The song sung by John was so sad. What if tomorrow never comes?" NaNa started crying even louder. "I'll stay with you until tomorrow."

Jun Liu had no objection over NaNa's wish, but the only problem was the guy outside who was trying to keep his fiancée from sipping the beer left by John.

"I'll talk to Yi Fei. She'll understand" NaNa stood up quickly and walked to the living room where Wu Chen and Yi Fei were sitting.

Jun Liu wanted to stop NaNa from doing whatever she wanted to do because the person she needs to consult would be Wu Chen and not Yi Fei but since NaNa walked quickly, he didn't manage to stop her.

"I'll stay with Ah Jun. What if tomorrow never comes?" NaNa spoke loudly while looking at Yi Fei.

Wu Chen was unhappy about the declaration and about to say something but Yi Fei tried to stop him and she smacked Wu Chen's mouth with her hands a little bit too strong. The smacking caused her wrist to be affected by force as well.

"Ah…Ah… painful… very painful"

Wu Chen who was upset with NaNa previously forgot about other people when his fiancée was in pain. He didn't even comment on anything said by NaNa. He was tending to Yi Fei's hand.

"I think auntie needs to check this. Quick. Let's go check my hand before the injury opens again."

Wu Chen pushed her wheelchair out of the house. Since Jun Liu was injured as well, he won't be able to do anything to NaNa so put his heart at ease with that. The most important thing to him right now was to check Yi Fei's injury since Yi Fei seemed like she was in a lot of pain.

But he failed to see the wink and thumb up given by Yi Fei to NaNa.
