I watched out my window every night hoping this is not how my life started. Hoping that I'm more than just a nobody.

    I live with no one, except for a little dove that watches me -at least I think so-for every move I make but, doesn't leave the house. Oh, that's right, I live in a shack, not a house, and it's a very old one.

Hey, at least I have something to live in.

      As the wind blew in my dark, long hair and as stars twinkled in the dark, night sky, I thought about how I end up here. I thought about if I would ever make a better life with living in a real house, go to school, have a family of my own and especially have a great social life. Right now, that isn't going to well for me.

     "Who's there ?" I said after I let out a shriek, as my dove sat on my shoulder. "Oh, it's just you! You scared the life out of me. I thought... you were someone else..."

Like that's ever going to happen.

I stroke the soft feathers of the dove and looked out into the night sky, and wondered, is this really how I started with life? Is this how lonely I am?
