The elevator came to a swift stop and the doors once again reopened. At once they were bombarded by the bright blue light that shone in the hospital like hallways. People ran around carrying all sorts of things, clipboards, stethoscopes, test tubes, boxes of ancient artefacts, devices. It was all just chaotic. Everyone was too busy scurrying about to notice the fact that a bunch of children were being escorted by a tall brute and an army of soldiers.
Despite sticking out like a weed in a flower patch, no one seemed to care at all.
"Guys, the border is an extremely dangerous place, since I assume you have not all entirely been vaccinated, we will do that when we reach our base up until then do not take off the masks we will give you," Captain Greene handed them a bunch of masks he purchased from a nearby store. Despite the dangerous tales of the border, it was hard to ignore how it looked like an ordinary train station and that people moved around freely like nothing was happening.
