You regain memories or ideas after season 2 when Rory comes back from Washington

1)Deal with her kiss to Jess

2) then develop life maybe get contacts with Richard Gilmore or learn life skills (cooking and carpentry) from Luke Danes

Maybe it's a mixture of TV and somehow he goes to One Tree Hill or rich enough to mix with Gossip Girl

Or becomes doctor in Greys
