HYDEN'S PAIN

"Uncle king what's the mission this time"? Lothana asked intriguingly.

They are now in Thaera Kingdom, well this time with her father's approval.

"We're not here for a mission. I promised your Dad not to take you in any dangerous trip. Even without the promise, I can't let my only niece be in danger. So just enjoy the view". Kingston ruffled Lothana's head dotingly.

"Yeah right. Ladies are priceless jewelries and should be well taken care of"! Lothana snorted. 'can I just be a she-male instead'? She pleaded in her heart. Definitely this 'delicateness' is not for her.

Kingston smiled wordlessly and he stared at Lothana. She makes him want to have his own daughter.

But somehow he feels that even his biological daughter cannot compete with his love for Lothana after all he had watched her grow up, and did many crazy thing with her.

Seeing the beautiful hair pin displayed in one of the shops, he slowly reduced his step, when she was a distance from him, he went to the shop.

Lothana who was unaware kept walking further. "Uncle how did you and my dad meet.... " She turned around only to see herself walking alone.

" Where did he runoff to"? She pondered as she searched with her eyes, round the crowded market.

"Make way! The Duke is passing"! A voice amidst the crowd yelled, prompting people to move back.

Meanwhile inside the carriage, a middle age man sat uprightly, with a stern and unsmiling face. A young man stood beside him humbly.

"My Lord about your daughter..... she is doing well her husband treats her well and your grandchildren are doing great. I got a report that your granddaughter is in this city....."

"You don't need to report irrelevant things to me again". The man said coldly.

' irrelevant my ãss! Why didn't you stop me before I finished telling you the 'irrelevant things! I'm just trying to help you fill your curiosity '! The assistant muttered in disdain.

"Did you say something"? The Duke asked with a nonchalant look.

"N-no I did"! His assistant answered timidly.

"Oh! I thought I heard you saying your final words". The Duke gave him a meaningful stare and looked away.

At first when he found out that his lover was dead, he so badly wanted to take revenge for her, but learning that she has a daughter, he couldn't bare rob her of her father. After all his dear may not be happy about it.

Finding out years later that she is his daughter, he almost went mad! The Duke shut his eyes to cover the raging pain brewing in his in it. He did not deserve her one bit!

Lothana grunted in dissatisfaction. Such an extravagant entry! "Only chickens will use this pattern to show their worth". She scoffed.

" You should learn to not look at things as they are princess ". Kingston said from behind her.

" I thought you will never return"! Lothana snorted.

" Back to what I said before. Look closely at your surrounding". Kingston turned her head to see the black masked people within the crowd.

" No doubt that if they want to carry out murder, the Duke's people will fend them off, but there will be both loss of lives of the innocent and properties. The only was to announce his entry to scare them off into the woods where they will be well taken care of". Kingston admonished.

" You're reading too much meaning to it . What if he is just another narcissist, trying to throw his weight around"? Lothana said disdainfully.

"You have a long way to go in trusting people". Kingston sighed sadly .

"Master should we go after him"? Eril asked quietly. They sat in an open restaurant in the market, and happened to see the Duke who was the reason they came here.

"No! A man like him who loves collecting power will not give up so easily". Moyan said thoughtfully.

" Find something to hold him down . Either greater power or something he can't bear to lose". He said again.

" Speaking of something he can't bear to lose, in my recent findings about him, I discovered that he has a daughter who lives in Central Zenin. She is even married and had two children.

Although he doesn't make himself present in her life, he has people secretly protecting them". Eril said happily and stared at Moyan in expectation.

Moyan saw his look, and he snorted. "You're not taking a leave".

"You've decided to die single but that's not the choice I've made for myself". Eril grumbles in dissatisfaction.

"How dare you get a woman when your boss has none"! Moyan yelled in a fake voice.

The thing he didn't tell Eril is that people are after him and the only place that is safe for

him, is to stay with Moyan.

"Bring the woman to the safe house when we get back". Moyan said.

" Er.... I don't know who she is or the part in Central Zenin she is staying". Eril said softly.

" Then how did you know he had a daughter? Is it that I'm too smart or people around me are too dumb"? Moyan asked in exasperation.

" The thing is that. I sneaked into their group as one of them. Everytime they gossiped, I made sure to pay attention. But even if they talked about his daughter, no knew said where she is. Even when I asked, they simply said that it's not a tale to be told. .... Do you think they took a blood oat"? Eril asked in consideration.

" It could be. Or maybe they don't know where she is, and are just putting on an act. Surely a man like him would let loosely the location of a something he cherish". Moyan concluded.

Staring at a certain direction, he snorted. Since knowing a certain cross dresser, he has come to see her character in almost everyone he meets.

"Look into every woman in Central Zenin that has two children. And draw them". He instructed Eril.

"You mean the women"? Eril asked in confusion.

" No their house! I'm planing on adopting the children"! Moyan said in annoyance .

"Sweetheart it's been a day already can't you forgive me"? Lothaire pleaded. Truly he was one step away from disowning his daughter. After all it's her fault.

" It's not that Sil. I recently noticed someone following me around. The person just stood afar, silently watching me without making a move". Heaven said absentmindedly.

After so many years of peace, she was finally relaxed thinking that nothing would disturb them any longer but it seems fate had another plan for them. She could only hope that they would sail though safely

"Don't worry Heaven. I would let anything hurt our family again". Lothaire said. His eyes was clouded in a dangerous glint. What happened sixteen years ago won't happen again!

"Wow! How come I can lift things with my mind? No one in my family has this ability"! Hyden said in amazement.

"I should go tell mom and dad"! Hyden stood up hastily.

"No. How do you think they would react? The signature power of your family is fire and ice, you have neither fire nor ice but can control things through telepathy. Do you think they would still take you as their son". A squished voice said.

Hyden looked around in fright. " Who are you and what do you want from me"? He asked timidly.

" I'm someone who wants the best for you. We are one after all". The squished voice came again.

" Where are you! Show yourself"! Hyden yelled in frustration and fright.

" I'm in you and you're in me. We are one". The voice said with laughter.

" If you're parents find out about your powers, they will start doubting if you are their biological son. After all you look like none of them".

" Get out of my head! That's not true! No matter who I look like, no matter how incompetent I am they are still my parents.... "!!! Hyden yelled in tears.

" See you don't even believe what you are saying. Now tell me . Who is your father close to? Who are your parents more concerned about? Who do they put more food for even when she doesn't want anymore? Who do they reserver the best part for? who do they .....

"Stop!! Stop!! Please just stop. Leave me alone I've done nothing wrong please leave me alone". Hyden pleaded, and slowly slid to the ground in tears.

"Mom, Dad. I need you"! He cried in pain.

"They won't come. If they are not busy taking care of their beloved daughter, then they are busy with themselves and their stupid love that no one would benefit from"! The voice yelled again.

"I don't want to hear it anymore! I'll kill you! I'll kill you"! Hyden broke the jade flower pot, and too the pieces then...
