Ch. 208 I'm Happy To Be Your Friend
Chleo and Ashley looked at each other, confused when they realized they had nowhere to go. They stood on a cylindrical rock hill that was very high, but the rock diameter was only enough for three to five people to board. They found nothing but an abyss all around them.
What is this place?
Chleo sneaked under to see how deep the abyss was and unconsciously stepped back in fear. She curled up and hid her face in between her knees.
She was reminded of her kidnapping a few months ago when she almost fell from her father's company building. Knowing that she was in a high place with no access to go down, Chleo became scared and didn't dare stand up, let alone look down.
It seemed the last incident where she almost died left her a deep trauma. She didn't use to be afraid of heights, but now... she was scared.
Ashley had no trauma and was not afraid of heights, so she could stare down without fear even though she wouldn't look closer to the edge.
