Ch. 108 I Was Thinking Of You
It's been a week since the disappearance of the design drawing in Division I… to be more precise, since Chleo officially dated a handsome man named Maximillian Navarro.
Per Chleo's request, Max did not publish their relationship to Dietrich or Fye. Neither did Chleo tell Evie and Diego because it was certain that the two of them would immediately report to their parents.
For now, she still didn't want her father to know about her relationship with Maximillian. It sounded laughable, but Chleo was afraid her father would do something bad to Max like investigate the man's background or meet him in person and then take her back to New York forcibly.
Now Chleo was enjoying her job with satisfaction. Mrs. Montgomery no longer troubled her mysteriously. Instead, she began to be given the task of designing accessories that were very easy. She was also grateful Mrs. Montgomery wasn't fired for setting her up.
