11 11 - Much More Viewers
Oli takes one of the Spaghetti Tacos, curious about the result, and tastes it.
Even though he is already used to the wonderful taste of the foods he reproduced, this meal was something different. The crispness of the tortillas together with the soft taste of the meat and the noodles brought a pleasant texture, different from the dishes he had already tasted.
"Then? What did you think?"
Carly asked Oli, while everyone looked at him curiously.
"This is great!"
Oli wiped his mouth with a dishtowel, but soon took another piece of taco to his mouth, making the others laugh.
"Guys, thank you to everyone who followed the live. Hope you had as much fun as we did. If you guys want to see more of these 'culinary shenanigans', be sure to follow the stream and… OH!"
Oli arched his eyebrows, remembering something important. The three looked at each other confused with Oli.
"We have news! iCarly is now a Twitch partner. So don't forget to go to their profile to follow them. Soon, they will be doing a livestream there as well."
Everyone looked at Oli, very surprised and excited about what he had done.
[Byeee Oli!]
[I'm signing up for iCarly right now!]
[Why does it need to end now? *sad emoji]
Then the camera turns off and the broadcast ends. The team gathers, all sharing looks of satisfaction and joy.
"So what did you guys think?"
Oli asked, leaning against the bench and turning to his three friends.
"That was amazing. I didn't know you could interact with viewers mid-show."
Carly said excitedly.
"YES! That screen where we can see the comments is great. We really need to have that on iCarly."
Freddie added, pitching his voice a little in excitement.
"I usually refer to viewers as viewrs, but I call them 'Chat'."
Oli said, sorting the dirty pans as he answered.
"Chat! It looks cute."
Carly said, looking up in thought.
"Look!".
Oli caught everyone's attention while messing with the stream's computer. Everyone came running to Oli to find out what had happened.
"We got an average of 7,000 continuous viewers. That's way more than I usually get."
He completed, pointing his finger at the computer screen.
"7 THOUSAND? That's way more than iCarly takes."
Freddie said excitedly.
"Since I announced that you'll be on Twitch next week, you'll probably get a lot more views than usual."
Oli explained, making Freddie very excited.
"We need to start this soon! I'm going to organize things for us to do the live next week on Twitch."
Freddie said, looking at the number of views with shining eyes.
Oli picked up the pot with a little leftover sauce and took it towards the garbage, but before he could do anything, Sam interrupted.
"HEY, HEY, WAIT! Are you going to throw this away?"
Sam asked, frowning.
"Oh no. I made a lot of sauce so my family could have dinner today."
Oli replied, holding the pot with both hands and actually moving towards some pots.
"Oh… So there's no way I could take some home, is there?"
Sam asked, touching one finger to another tentatively.
"Himself!"
Carly said widening her eyes, trying to scold Sam.
"What? I just wanted some!"
Sam said, with an outraged expression on his face.
"Everything is fine! There's plenty. You can take some if you like."
Oli smiled, amused. He poured some of the sauce into a medium bowl and handed it to Sam, who was extremely happy with the achievement.
"So, what do you normally do now?"
Carly asked, moving closer to Oli.
"Most of the time, I just go to my room and read for a while. What do you usually do?"
"Oh, we usually watch something after the show until Freddie's crazy mom comes over and asks him to leave."
Carly said, a mischievous smile on her face.
"My mother is not crazy!"
Freddie said, crossing his arms.
"Yeah, just when she shows up at the door desperately saying 'Freddie darling, you need to come inside so we can do the skincare with Australian cucumbers'. Nothing crazy."
Sam said, mimicking Mrs. Benson's voice dramatically as she finished scraping the last drop of sauce from the pan.
"Sounds like fun, but I need to finish cleaning up this mess today, and I even promised to stay with Emy after the livestream."
Oliver replied, a welcoming smile on his face as he arranged the ingredients on the counter.
"Oh, so we can save the movie tomorrow so you could even help Freddie set up the Twitch stream."
Carly said, trying to come up with an excuse to see Oli the next day.
"What? No need not! I know how to work there."
Freddie said, crossing his arms a little irritated that they doubted his ability.
[Freddie's Commentary]
Freddie was sulking, sitting on the couch with his arms crossed and swinging his left leg.
"I'm angry. I don't need Oli's help for anything. Carly always wants to be on his side and thinks he's super smart and fun, but she doesn't see that I'm so much cooler!"
Freddie's forehead was furrowed with anger, which made his big cheeks look bigger.

"Do you also use OBS? If you need it, I can teach you how to configure it, but I think this is too easy for how much you understand about programming."
Oli said, highlighting how smart Freddie was.
[Freddie's Commentary]
Freddie was wearing a relaxed expression and a gratifying smile, sitting on the sofa with his fingers intertwined.
"..."
"It's a little hard to be mad at Oli."
[Commentary Ends]
"I never tinkered, but I can learn fast."
Freddie replied, pleased with Oli's comment.
"Excellent!".
Oli smiled at Freddie.
"Hey, kids. Did you finish the live? I can enter?"
Daniel sticks his head inside the studio, while keeping his body outside.
"You can, Uncle!"
As soon as Oli answered, Daniel came in holding a small basket with cleaning products and cloths, to help Oli clean the counter.
Daniel and Oli quickly began cleaning the bench without much effort. Even though he got the counter more dirty than Oli normally would, all of the materials were non-stick, preventing the food from sticking and becoming impossible to remove.
Dirt was completely eliminated, making every part look shiny.
"If you want to stay a little longer after cleaning, we…"
"Clear!"
Before Oli could finish speaking, Carly interrupted, answering without hesitation.
"Oh, it won't. I told my mother that I would get home early today because some policemen are going to the house to search."
Sam said, wiping his hands on his pants.
"Magazine? Like this?"
Oli asked worriedly.
"She is on parole. They're going to stop by today to see if… Well… If she hasn't done anything illegal."
Sam replied, getting a little embarrassed.
[Sam's Commentary]
Sam was stretched out on the couch with her feet up on the coffee table, her posture relaxed.
"I really wanted to spend more time with Oli, but I'm going to be screwed if I don't go home soon."
"My mother is not one of the most correct people in this world. Sometimes she swears at a lady in line at the bank, another time she beats up a policeman who said she can't smoke inside a nursery. She's kind of misunderstood by society."
Then she takes her feet off the coffee table, looking a little worried.
"I feel a little bad about it. I don't want Oli to start avoiding me because of my mother. I know she's scary, but she won't do anything to him… If I don't want to."
[Commentary Ends]
"Yeah, I have to go too. It's almost time for dinner. My mom is going to kill me."
Freddie said, looking at his watch.
"All good. See you tomorrow then!"
Oli said, wiping the countertop with a cloth and cleaning product.
"Do you need help? I can stay to help if you want."
Carly said, trying to be helpful.
"Oh, no need to worry. We'll get this over with real quick."
Daniel said smiling as he cleaned the utensils they had used.
"Oh yeah. All good!"
Carly said with a dull smile and left for home with her friends.
[Carly's Commentary]
Carly was sitting on the couch looking a little shy.
"I just wanted to be with Oli a little longer. The show today was super cool, but he was so far away from me."
"Was I being too clingy? Did I scare him?"
She said widening her eyes.
