75 75. Stunning performance.

The entire squad including Soi Fon watched in in stunned silence as the battle between their captain and new 3rd Seat progressed rapidly.

Small shockwaves rang out from blows from bare fists as the fight got faster and faster the ground was torn up with sheer speed. Some of the lower ranking members could no longer keep up with thier eyes and needed to resort to using thier Reitsu to capture some of the movements.

Yoruichi herself was stunned she had never faced anything like this before. The boy in front of her rapidly adapted to her style catching her every movement, when she would speed up he would speed up, when she threw a punch he would throw an identical punch. She hadn't had this kind of fun in years! Nobody could keep up with her speed in combat, not many captains were a master of hand to hand fighting either so she had few opponents to go all out with in a brutal brawl. Plus she watched in real time as the boy in front of her improved from having little skills in the specialized fighting style of her squad to matching her. It was astonishing. His Flash Step was even improving at a monstrous rate and she knew he was stealing her techniques.

Did she care? Absolutely not she was doing the same! This boy had some neat tricks she had never seen before.

Most of the martial arts taught at the academy were adapted from japanese martial arts, she had never seen some of the things the boy was doing.

How long had it been since she had been suppressed in hand to hand combat? It got even better when he started to somehow predict her movements.

"You're giving me quite a few surprises today!" She laughed before increasing her speed. She wanted to see his limits, but most importantly she wanted to keep having fun!

Soon the level of speed and power reached low captain class but kept going. Both people were covered in various bruises and sweat because of the high speed movements for such a long period of time. It's a serious strain on the body.

Soon both people pulled apart, various welts covered the arms of Yoruichi from nasty finger jabs. Ryan was sporting large bruises across his arms that were swelling from blocking kick from those luscious chocolate legs. His lip was also busted open from a nasty jab.

"I would like to know where you learned to fight like that." Yoruichi asks.

"Trade you my training manuals if you teach me how to turn into a cat." Ryan offers with a grin.

"Deal." Yoruichi says with a feral grin. "Seems like you won this match, what were those jabs you used I can't seem to move much anymore."

When Yoruichi says this the entire 2nd squad is shocked.

"Gentle Fist, i push energy through my fingertips and attack various pressure points and nerves causing them to lock up." Ryan says before moving his hand over the purple bruises on his body that rapidly start to heal.

"Do you mind?" Yoruichi asks.

"Ah sorry." Ryan walks over and runs his hands over the woman causing the various purple welts to vanish and she sits on the ground pulling up her pant leg showing even more welts.

"Didn't even notice until it was too late." She chuckles. "But now that I know your little trick it won't work on me again."

"Well that's good, I haven't had a good spar in close to a year." I say with a smile.

Suddenly Yoruichi gets a smirk on her face. "Spar? What are you talking about captain?"

Ryan stiffens up before looking around quickly counting. "477 people. You wouldn't?" he asks with a frown.

"Attention squad 2 as of now I am no longer the captain, 3rd seat Ryan has bested me in combat in front of over 200 of said squad members, i hereby relinquish my title as captain of the second squad." Yoruichi says with a large cat like grin spreading across her face as a ninja guard appears with a white captains haori and she takes it passing it over with a smug grin on her face. "Just to let you know Captain Ryan I haven't finished the paperwork for this squad in over 3 years. So it might have stacked up a bit."

"Bitch!"

"Ahahaha! Now I can sleep all I want sucker! You get to deal with all those stuffy old men in the meetings Ahahaha!" Yoruichi cackles madly before fleeing at her highest speed.

"Lady Yoruichi!" Soi Fon quickly follows.

Ryan just looks around humbly holding the new Captains Haori with a confused face.

Suddenly the almost 500 squad members kneel. "Captain!"

"Fuck I was tricked!" Ryan groans slapping his face.

One of the official ways to become captain is to defeat the previous captain in combat in front of at least 200 squad members, Yoruichi had even admitted defeat therefore he had rightfully won the captains seat even if some tricks were involved.

During the couple of minutes Ryan had been stunned stupid Yoruichi had already had her people send out the report of her losing her Captain rank and spread the news so he couldn't back out. She may have altered the details a little bit but it was still all official she had indeed lost the battle, that little trick of blocking off her pressure points had locked up her body and she would have lost soon anyway. Or else she would have loved to had gone another 10 rounds and pushed her limits further.

Now she was happily off to brag to Kisuke how she got out of her backed up paperwork and her new sparring partner she found.

Captain-Commander Yamamoto could only rub his eyes in annoyance when the report arrived. This was something nobody was expecting. A captain level fresh student out of the academy.

Ryan on the other hand was pissed he had been fooled, all he wanted was to spar!
