It was the next day when I decided to check out the dungeon core I had unlocked. It was a large golden ball kind of like a Basketball.
"So how do I use it?" I ask.
[Drop in monster cores, plants, or seeds to start the spawning of monsters. People killed inside of the core provide you with energy. Dungeon entrance can be placed outside of internal world. Dungeon core can be kept safe in a different internal world.]
I don't really feel like having anyone die because of me cause that sounds pretty sick. But it would be nice to have my own dungeon.
I drop in the monster core for the Boar and Rabbit, the slime is only useful for the core it has but the other two are useful for meat and fur.
Heading over to the greenhouse I start to pick berries and drop them in along with a set of the healing herbs and flowers from yesterday. I'm not going to turn down some free easy planting and maybe I can use this dungeon for something else later on besides food. But it's always good to have food and monster back ups in case the rabbits I have on hand die.
Dunno how long its going to take for things to start spawning. Still better than letting it just sit around and do nothing. Might as well grow my bacon.
I took a peek inside and it just had grassy plains like the ones from yesterday.
Anyway today I would be working on some new things, Fireball, and Tree Walking simply because I want to try it. I also want to start working on Speed Boost and Body Flicker.
But first was of course the hellish exercise regime with Rook, while Stella sits at the side eating soul fruits and watching. Occasionally giving motivational panty flashes.
Which I paid for with extra pushups when Rook saw me getting distracted. She really was a drill sergeant when it came to training.
What followed was lunch, then practicing our boxing with the punching bags in the gym and finally getting my ass beat by Rook to improve my fighting capabilities... I still need a lot more practice.
Finally elemental practice, today was fireball and movement techniques. Rook could help with the movement techniques as this was her bread and butter, along with enhanced body moves like mega punch.
"Okay this one is pretty simple. Just focus your energy towards your feet, bend your knees and then push forward with the energy like you are going to jump forward. If you need to use the hand sign for starters then do so." Rook explains.
Speed burst had only a single sign to start up the energy then you have to push it towards the feet and push off. Once you get used to mobilizing the energy you can discard the hand sign and do it on your own.
That is also the basics for the other moves, if you can mobilize the energy on your own then you can get rid of a hand sign. If you can mould it to a different nature such as fire, there goes another hand sign, then if you can direct it to do what you need there goes another.
You just need to practice over and over again.
I make the hand sign to mobilize the energy and push it to my feet. Then I try to leap...and fly through the air way too high and crash into the ground about 20 feet away knocking the wind out of myself.
"Ugh....that....sucked..." I gasp trying to get the air back into my lungs.
That wouldn't be the last time I took flight that day and ate shit into the ground. Slowly it will get better though I assure myself.
Next up was the Fireball move. It was much bigger than embers. Kind of hard to describe how big Hmm maybe about the size of a bean bag chair, yeah that will do.
1 Fireball though wiped me completely of energy but i was still D rank for being able to use it.
There I decided something else. "I plan to use ember until I no longer need to use hand signs to complete it. I want to master the basics before moving on."
Amber stops her fireball and considers my words. "I'll do that too master."
"Good that way when we start Fireball training we will already have 3 hand signs we won't need to do. Cutting it down to 2 hand signs makes it so much faster." Fireball worked almost exactly like Ember except there were two more steps, combine all the Embers into one then spray them out into a large ball of flame.
Once the time for elemental training ended we moved onto meditation. Mostly to stabilize all the excess fire energy in our bodies and get everything under control.
Finally it was control training. I transplanted a large tree from outside and explained what I wanted to do.
Laying down on the ground I placed my feet on the tree and tried to get them to stick, Rook and Amber both joined me. Stella just watched as tree climbing was a bit odd for her since she weighed like nothing and just floated. Dunno of I should have her do chakra control exercises but I can try. Start her out with Leaf balancing, control is always a good thing to have when it comes to anything.
Luckily we can do tree walking, unluckily ots way fuckong harder than it looks. Do you know what kind of fucking core muscles your body needs to be able to walk up a tree vertically? Me either because it was a fucking challenge but I wouldn't give up. It didnt take more than a few moments for me to burn through my energy and flop to the ground, legs and abs absolutely burning from the chore.
"This might take a while to master." I sigh as my body pulses from pain. Ninja really are freaks for being able to pull this kind of shit.
